5.00Our day trip to Sintra was amazing. Our guide Pedro was knowledgeable, enthusiastic, and energetic. The initiation well at Regaleira was our favorite. But our lunch experience was great where Pedro showed us how to eat barnacles and we sampled Portuguese seafood and Porto wine and local desserts. A great tour.

5.00We traveled to Sintra, Guichon Beach, and Cascais three diverse areas of Lisbon. We had a delicious traditional Portuguese lunch with appetizers, wonderful fish, bread, dessert and wine. This was not included in the cost of the trip, but was superior and well worth the cost. Joaquim thoroughly knows the history of Portugal. This was indeed an educational experience. But above and beyond that it was so much fun. Joaquim has a great sense of humor and exudes joy.

5.00Our guide, Joaquim, was incredibly knowledgeable. As a former professor of history in Portugal, we were being educated while having just as much fun. He’d offer to take pictures for us, knew the most photogenic spots along each tour, and checked in on every member of the tour to make sure they were doing okay. He took us to a great restaurant & worked quickly to accommodate everyone’s dietary needs. He was funny & kind throughout. Paying extra to enter the Regaleira was well worth it. The travasseiro cakes at the little cafe in Sintra are also delicious (I recommend getting one filled with Nutella). 10/10 experience, recommend it for anyone who wants to explore the country but doesn’t know exactly where or how to begin.

5.00We had the best day with Juaquim visiting the most amazing places in Portugal. Juaquim had so much knowledge, great energy and personality to learn about these iconic sites . We enjoyed the wonderful day with him and highly recommend this tour! He even took the time to take wonderful pictures for our family that are Instagram worthy!

5.00Amazing. From the beginning Joaquim had exceptional treatment. I would definitely recommend it to anyone who comes. We started in Caldas da Rainha and the journey to Sintra was superfast, learning from the history of Portugal and several other aspects of the way. Then we arrived in Sintra, a place full of charm and alleys, where we could have a coffee in a crowded place, thanks to Joaquim, who already knew him. After that, we went to the end of the Portuguese world!! Closest place to America. Then, after seeing Cascais and eating, we enjoyed Lisbon, its panoramic views, extravagant streets and charm. So, genius it would all be the summary. After all, one stops to review when really, the time spent was worth it.
