This was a fabulous tour. Our guide, Tomas, was knowledgeable, well spoken, enthusiastic and had so much information to share with us. The tour of the Murano glass factory was exceptional, and we enjoyed our time on Burano. I would strongly recommend this tour and the Shome. Venice Company.

Mikaela was a wonderful guide and very knowledgeable about the area and the specific sites we visited. We spent the right amount of time at both Murano and Burano and the boat rides to and from were enjoyable as well. Would definitely recommend her as a guide.

Such a great tour! Sebastiano met us at our hotel to take us to the boat and gave us information on Venice in general before telling us the history of Murano and Burano. The glassblowing demonstration was amazing, we had more time to spend on Burano exploring after seeing the lacemaking. Highly recommend!!

We had an absolutely wonderful tour with Lucca exploring the islands of Burano and Murano. From the very beginning, he brought Murano’s centuries-old glassblowing tradition to life with fascinating stories and historical insight that made the experience truly engaging. Our visit to Burano was just as memorable. The island’s brightly colored homes are stunning, but what made it special was Lucca’s explanation of its lace-making heritage and long-standing fishing traditions—it added so much depth and meaning to what we were seeing. Lucca’s warmth, knowledge, and enthusiasm made the entire day feel personal and unforgettable. He has a natural way of connecting with his guests and turning a beautiful outing into a truly special experience. If you’re visiting Venice, this tour is a must—we can’t recommend it highly enough.

The most amazing experience with Luca in Morano with the maestro Andrea Grandin, Nicola Cicoria, Ivano and Mattia part of the Art Team of Fornace Venier. It has been so inspirational. Thank you so much ☺️ See you again Michal Daniely

Fantastic visit of the Murano and Burano islands with a friendly and local guide (ciao Matteo!) on a private boat (protected from wind if you wonder).

The Luxury Tour of Murano & Burano by private boat and guide was easily one of the best experiences we had in Venice. From the moment we started, everything felt premium, well organized, and thoughtfully designed. Visiting both islands by private boat adds a completely different level of comfort and exclusivity, allowing you to enjoy the scenery without the crowds and typical tourist rush. What truly made this tour exceptional was our guide. He was absolutely spectacular. His family is directly involved in the glassmaking tradition in Murano, which gave the entire experience a much deeper and more authentic perspective. You’re not just hearing generic explanations, you’re getting real insight from someone who is personally connected to the craft. That alone elevates the value of the tour significantly. On top of that, he spoke excellent Spanish, which made everything even more fluid and enjoyable. His way of explaining, his knowledge, and his attitude made a huge difference throughout the day. Overall, this is a top-tier experience in Venice and definitely something we would recommend if you’re looking for a more exclusive, meaningful, and high-quality tour.

We had a wonderful morning visiting Morano and Burano. Everything went smoothly, the guide was knowledgeable and friendly. My 8 year old son even got to help drive one of the boats. We enjoyed watching the masters create a beautiful vase in Morano. Then, we saw some beautiful homes and enjoyed a short stroll, local cookies and lace.

We took the private tour of Murano and Burano which included the glass tour and lace shop visit. I highly recommend visiting both islands but other than the private boat, I’m not sure we really needed a private guide. We were happy to have a couple hours each place, so I would arrange transportation accordingly.
