What To Expect
Pick up from hotel 4am and travel for one and a half hours to Ollantaytambo station where we will board our train 6:30am and then make the journey to the village of “Aguas Calientes” which lasts two hours. Upon arrival at the train station, our guide will be waiting for you with a sign and your names, with which you will go to the bus station, to ascend to 400 m high, a zigzag trail for 30 minutes to reach Machupicchu. Once arriving, we will pass the checkpoint, from this place the guided tour will begin, we will visit the main places of the city, such as the main square, the Circular Tower, the Sacred Solar Clock, the Royal Quarters, the tour will last more than two hours. At the end, we will return to the village of “Aguas Calientes” and have lunch in one of the many restaurants. In the afternoon, 2:40pm we will take the train back to Cusco arriving at the train station in Ollantaytambo, we will be waiting to take you to the city of Cusco.
