Madu River wetland consists of many mangrove islets. It has high ecological, biological and aesthetic significance, being home to approximately 303 species of plants belonging and to 248 species of animals. The Madu River is also a Ramsar declared Wetland.
The activity will be hosted by a university graduate who has a wast knowledge about nature and adventure outdoor living.

5.00I am not a morning person so Sunrise Mangrove Kayaking seemed like a crazy idea. However, it turned out to be one of those things that you didn’t know you needed so badly. It was a sweet escape in the middle of nature and in the core of my own being. The rising sun awoke long-forgotten feelings of gratitude for everything that I have lived so far. Many thanks to the guys from SerendiB Adventures for being so friendly, helpful and positive. A truly unique experience that I highly recommend!

5.00It was with SerendiB Adventures, I and my team joined this awesome experience of Sunrise Mangrove Kayaking (Madu River Ahungalla) and all i could say is that's an experience one should definitely have at least once in his/her life. The experience was truly healing and seeing how the sun wakes up in secret while you are on a kayak, while listening to bird chirps coming from the mangroves was more than bliss to all of us.Thanks to the SerendiB team and their hospitality, we never felt bad of the decision we took to try this out as first timers.
