To travel to La Guajira is to immerse yourself in a universe of contrasts, where the majesty of its landscapes seems to be touched by the hand of the divine: golden dunes that merge with the sky, seas of deep blue and sunsets that cut short the breath. But it is also impossible to close your eyes to the other side of this earth: the silent abandonment faced by many Wayuu culture communities, where children and adults survive justly, and where often, one meal a day is a luxury. This trip was not only an adventure, it was an invitation to reflect, to empathize and to contribute, even with a small gesture, a grain of sand that can become hope. It is in the midst of this duality that the experience becomes more valuable, because we not only knew wonderful landscapes, but also a reality that needs to be told. Thanks to WALEKETT and its tour called GUAJIRA MÁGICA, this trip was more than just a tour: it was a deep and enriching experience. And much of this we owe to KEIDER, our guide, who with his kindness, willingness and human warmth, transformed each journey into a close and pleasant experience. Always attentive to how we felt, he accompanied us with professionalism and empathy, answering each question with love and pride for his culture. In addition, KEIDER demonstrated a special talent as a photographer, giving us visual memories that I will keep with much love in my personal gallery. Each image captured speaks not only of the landscapes, but also of the soul of this journey. If you ask me if I will ever live this experience again, the answer is a resounding yes, a thousand times. See you soon, beautiful Guajira. I wish the whole world could meet you, and if it's WALEKETT's hand, even better. Thank you infinitely, Keider, for opening to my husband and me the gates of your land and your heart.
