Arrive in Tashkent. GLOBAL CONNECT driver will meet you at the Tashkent International Airport and transfer you to the hotel (Check in from 14:00). Start sightseeing from the Old City part of Tashkent. Visit Khast Imam - a cultic architectural complex and the religious center of Tashkent where the world famous Uthman Quran has been preserved. Khast Imam complex consists of Barak-Khan Madrasah, Tillya Sheikh Mosque, Muyi Muborak Madrasah, Kaffal Shashi Mausoleum, New Khazrati Imam Mosque and the Muftiate building. Drive to Chorsu Bazaar. After exploring the bazaar visit the State Museum of Applied Art to see priceless samples of applied art created by golden hands of masters from the first half of XIX century up to the present time. Have a short Tashkent metro ride from "Kosmonavtlar" station to "Mustakallik Maydoni" station. Visit Independence Square, Alisher Navoi State Academic Bolshoi Theatre, Amir Temur Square and Museum, "Broadway" street where some street artists and painters display their original artworks (there are many shopping centers, fashion shops, boutiques, restaurants, and cafes are located on and around the Broadway) and Monument of Courage. Drop off at the hotel. Free time. Overnight at the hotel.

06:30 Transfer to the train station. 07:30 Transfer to Bukhara by high-speed train "Afrosiyob". 11:17 Arrive in Bukhara. Leave your luggage in the hotel and start your walking sightseeing tour in Bukhara. Visit Lyabi-Khauz Complex, Magoki-Attori Mosque, Chor-Minor Madrasah, Trade domes, Kalyan Minaret, Kalyan Mosque and Miri-Arab Madrasah, Ulugbek and Abdulazizkhan madrasahs, Ark Fortress, Bolo-Khauz Mosque, Chashma-Ayub and Ismail Samani mausoleums. GLOBAL CONNECT will arrange a dinner at Nodir Devonbegi Madrasah Restaurant where you can enjoy Traditional Dance Show. Overnight at the hotel.

Go up to the hills to visit the remains of the fortress of Alexander the Great. Visit the Kariz - the construction of Kariz is a unique underground water pipeline system near Nurata which is also connected with the name of the Alexander the Great. 16:00 Drive to Yurt Camp. Overnight in the Yurt Camp.

Breakfast at the hotel. 09:00 Transfer to Shakhrisabz (85 km). Drive through the Aman-Kutan Gorge and Takhta-Karacha Mountain Pass. On the way stop to take a view at Teshiktosh (Stone with hole). The film "Apachen" (1973) was shot on this location - an area that looks incredibly like the American Southwest. Short stop at the top of the mountain pass. There is a tiny market where some local dried fruits can be bought. 11:00 Arrive in Shakhrisabz. Visit Mausoleum of Jakhongir in Dor-us Saodat Memorial Complex, remains of Ak Saray Palace, Kok Gumbaz Mosque. 15:00 Drive back to Samarkand directly to the train station. 17:25 Transfer to Tashkent by high-speed train "Afrosiyob". 19:40 Arrive in Tashkent. 5.00This is one of the best and most organized tour we had experience, travelling as a family. 1. Pick-up from Airport to the hotel 2. City tour in Tashkent, they made sure that it is comfortable for my 79-yr old. Wonderful lunch at the pilaf place. 3. Very organised pick up from our hotel to the train station towards Samarkand. They are worried about the passport checks because we left it at the hotel. They ensure that the guide has dropped us back to the train station (it was raining). Our guide in Samarkand said that they always take tours with Global Connect because they are very organised. 4. We had to extend 1night in Tashkent because of some flight issues. They immediately pick us from the airport and back to the hotel we stayed. Mr Anvar even helped us to talk to the airline's call center and translated the conversation for us. We are very lucky to see the very first heavy snowfall in Amirsoy Resort. It was a very wonderful experience for my mom and sister. We would like to thank Mr Anvar for all the assistance and help you did for us. Uzbekistan trip is very memorable because you made our travels very easy and comfortable. 5.00I spent 12 days in Uzbekistan last month and honestly, it was one of the most visually stunning places I’ve ever been. This wasn’t a rushed tour — we took our time in each city, soaking up the atmosphere and capturing some incredible shots. We started in Tashkent, then moved to Khiva, Bukhara, Samarkand, and finally a relaxing day trip into the countryside. Each place felt like a new chapter in a living history book. The architecture is unreal — perfect for anyone into photography or culture. Golden hour in Samarkand’s Registan is a must! What I loved most was the slow pace. Our guides gave us time to explore, chat with locals, sip tea in peaceful courtyards, and just be in the moment. The food was homemade and hearty, and the people were some of the kindest I’ve met. If you're into cultural travel, historical sites, and taking beautiful travel photos, thanks for Anvar and Global Connect this 12-days Uzbekistan itinerary is perfect. It’s safe, affordable, and still feels like a hidden gem.

Uzbekistan is still off the beaten path, but it's seriously worth it for anyone curious about Central Asia travel. From the bustling markets in Tashkent to the stunning blue domes of Samarkand and the peaceful streets of Khiva, every day was packed with culture, history, and friendly locals. The group was international and super fun — we shared meals, stories, and lots of laughs. The tour was well-organized, thanks for Ozod and GLOBAL CONNECT. We even got to visit a local family for dinner, which was a highlight. Safe, affordable, and full of surprises — I’d recommend Uzbekistan to any solo traveler looking for an authentic adventure.

We have chosen the agency Global Connect, which prepared and organized 12 days journey. From the first to the last day, everything worked flawlessly. It was an unforgettable trip that my wife and I enjoyed learning a lot about this beautiful country and people without any worries. 5.00i cannot praise Global Connect highly enough. I found them because I wanted to use a tour operator on the ground with local guides everywhere we went. From the moment of our pickup at the airport, to our drop off twelve days later ... their planning was meticulous. Not a single miscommunicatoin or delay. Our request was to include in our itinerary out of the way places which they accommodated brilliantly. We loved Uzbekistan - and thanks to Global Connect we could enjoy it without any hitches or glifches, from taxis, to trains, to hotels to excellent guides and drivers who were wonderful company, special mention here to Aziz, Guzal and Ali. I would not hesitate in recommending Global Connect and I shall certainly be asking them to arrange our next trip, next year, to explore the bits we didn't get to ...
