Mai Chau

7:30 – 10:45: On the way to the winding pass as silk. You will see the Living space of the Local Muong, Thai is interwoven between the Valley and the mountains along the way.

3 hours 15 minutes • Admission Not Applicable

Thung Khe Pass

10:50 -11:30 : Stop at the top of Thung Khe Pass to admire the panorama of Mai Chau Valley. You will especially feel interested when visiting the temporary local market selling products of the Muong ethnic people at the top of the pass.

We had an amazing time on our 3-day trek through Mai Chau! Our guide was fantastic — he made us feel very welcome and comfortable from the start. The villages and landscapes were absolutely beautiful. It felt like a genuine glimpse into the daily life of the local people, not something overly touristy. We’re so happy we included this in our Vietnam trip - it was one of the highlights!

We booked a minibus with an agency in downtown Hanoi. The trip was very pleasant. That said, this place is worth a visit! It is a very traditional village with stunning landscapes. A real hidden jewel!
