What To Expect
For the morning half-day tour, the starting time will be at 6 a.m. while the afternoon tour begins at 2.30 p.m.After entering the national park with your guide in a jeep, you will be able to spot several species of birds and other animals that have made their homes in this sanctuary. You will be taken through most of the Udawalawe National Park, covering the wetlands, grasslands, forest patches, etc. We will make longer stops at certain watering holes for unique photography opportunities. Finishing the safari, either round 11 a.m. or around 6 p.m. you will be dropped at the park entrance.

5.00This Tour was organised by Asokk Tours who we recommend If you want the experience with the Local and very approachable Sri lankan. Ashokk Prabhath can be contacted via his Instagram account prabathasokk or his mobile +94 75 7594427. Now onto our day, we were collected at 5 am in the morning from our Hotel at the Sheraton - Kosgoda - Turtle Beach Resort. The day was well organised and commitment and communication was good by both Asokk our guide and Dantha our Driver. We transferred into another Vehicle and then made our way to the Udawalawe National park. Again our driver was very informative of anything that he found whilst driving around the Safari park. This Tour was well worth the Money we paid to go out and recommend Asokk and Dantha.

5.00Wow what can I say was amazing and worth every penny highly recommend as close to the elephants you’ll ever get amazing animals one of the two trips I’ve highly rated the other being river safari whale watching was terrible one thing to bear in mind with the elephants if your staying at Riu hotel it’s a 5 am pick up but hotel provides you packed food
