We had an amazing time cooking with mam Warti! She was waiting for us in front of the market, where we first did our shopping before taking a becak to her house. There she taught us to cook some staple indonesian dishes like satay and pecel. When she discovered we were learning Indonesian, she taught the class in Indonesian and explained the things we didn't understand as well! Truly a wonderful time and I'll definitely come back the next time I'm in Malang!

If you want a true local and authentic experience in Malang, you should join this cooking class! For us, this class was our favorite experience in Malang! Mam Warti is lovely lady with a passion for cooking and food. She made us try so many different amazing Indonesian dishes and snacks that we have never tried before. It felt so special that she invited us to her own house. The cooking class was a lot of fun and we also enjoyed exploring the local market. We had a wonderful time and we cannot recommend this class enough!
