5.00It was a hands on experience which is what we were hoping for. While you dont have your own cooking station, you each have a station to cut and prepare and then the cooking part is shared. Sitting and eating together afterwards we learnt so much about Fizah and Malay culture and food . Fizah is a great teacher and host. The overall experience was totally worth it !

5.00Fizah’s class is probably the best cooking class I’ve been to! Firstly, I’d commend how accommodating she is. I booked my class 3 hours prior, and she was kind enough to accommodate me despite short notice. Secondly, she’s a great teacher! I really learned a lot—not only how to cook, but also about Malaysian culture, customs, and values. Thirdly, her ingredients are fresh! We made the curry paste from scratch. Her recipes also has some personal twists, which makes cooking more exciting! Love the experience overall.

5.00We had a very nice time cooking with Fizah in her home. The day before our scheduled session, she sent us a note with several options we could select from to cook. We chose Mee Goreng and Kuih Gula Melaka. Both turned out excellent, and although my wife and I are avid cooks, we learned an a few things about cooking Malaysian foods. Our session lasted two hours.
Excellent chance to learn to cook in lovely surroundings, with a first class chef.

5.00My wife and I had a marvellous experience learning to cook Mee Goring and Sesame seed balls. The facilities were a clean and spacious apartment. Our lovely chef was Fizah who had all the ingredients laid out. We started from the very beginning by preparing each of the ingredients. The whole morning was a success, we were taken through each stage, no short cuts. We ended up with a beautiful meal. This was well worth it and a real pleasure.

5.00My husband and I had an unforgettable experience when we took this cooking class in Malaysia last June. Fizah is an incredible host, so kind, knowledgeable, considerate, attentive and friendly. She made our experience really delightful and unique! We cooked Laksa soup and Kuih Ketayap, which were both fascinating to make and very delicious to eat afterwards. We also really enjoyed having the class in a local home, which provided a cosy and comfortable environment for the activity. We had an amazing time and we both found this class to be a highlight of our stay in Kuala Lumpur. We wholeheartedly recommend it, it was truly awesome!!
