What To Expect

The wine tasting experience to the Cantina Marinella with Maria is an exclusive experience for max 8 people in an amazing old cellar from the 19th century. We will meet to the Cantina and after a walk through the vineyards of Manarola, an old mule track, up to the panoramic point where the terraces descend overlooking the sea and the colorful houses and where you take beautiful pics, we will return to the cellar where the tasting of some local wines will begin: - 3 tasting glasses of white wine - 1 tasting glasses of rosé wine - 2 tasting glasses of red wine - 1 tasting glass of Sciachetra' the precious and rare sweet dessert wine with Cantucci biscuits. They will be served during the wine tasting local food products. Relax, good music and sharing at the convivial table. If you want to make the experience private and personal it is possible by reserving all seats. In case of rain we skip the walk in the vineyards and we stay in the cellar for the tasting. The times are entered by default, but they can be brought forward or postponed by an hour based on the diary and in the months of September, October and November the times are brought forward because the sun sets earlier.

My mother and I had a splendid time with our host, Maria, and two other ladies from the UK. Maria was very knowledgeable and fun to spend time with and showed us some beautiful sights in the vineyards that overlook Manarola. We each had a very full plate of snacks (focaccia, meat, cheese, etc) with our wine tastings. It was very enjoyable to get to experience several local wines and understand more about the winemaking culture here. 10/10 would recommend!

We had an absolutely amazing experience on our wine tasting and vineyard tour with Maria! From the start, she was great at communicating and made it very easy for us to find the meeting spot in Manarola. While we waited for the rest of the group, she welcomed us with a glass of Prosecco, setting a perfect tone for the afternoon. Maria led us through the beautiful vineyards of Cinque Terre, sharing so much fascinating information about the history of the area and the unique traditions behind the local winemaking. She is incredibly knowledgeable and passionate, and it really made the tour special. After the walk, we got to taste several delicious wines paired with a variety of meats and cheeses — everything was fantastic. This was truly one of the highlights of our trip, and we cannot recommend it (and Maria!) enough!
