Perfect! We went on the tour on a rainy day but that didn't matter! We had a great time and learned so much. The perfect amount of waking and information at every stop. Every question was answered!

It was a nice afternoon walk around downtown Manchester. Strongly recommended if you want an introduction into the history and development of Manchester. Gareth was certainly knowledgeable and steady. He has a good list of eateries to recommend to his tour group. Do note that the tour is non-stop walking and standing. Hence, it might not be suitable if you have young children or elderly

Gareth does a great job covering a wide variety of Manchester's history (and present) in the form of a very manageable walking tour. The time flies by, and it's a great balance of sightseeing with periodic stops to hear more about the stop. I was only visiting Manchester for a couple nights so I wanted to do what I could to get a feel for the city despite that short time, and found this tour to be an excellent way to do it! Highly recommend!
