2.00I had really looked forward to this having never been to Manchester. The guide was very enthusiastic but unfortunately after 20 minutes my bunions start playing up and I decided to sit the rest of the walk out and went to a nearby pub instead. Here I was befriended by a local who persuaded me he could fill me in on any Manchester history that I may have missed on the walk and he would do this for a pint of ale. He was indeed very talkative and charming and we had several drinks together, at least this is what I remember as I woke up some hours later in a nearby alley with my wallet missing. Maybe next time I will go to the theatre.
