3.00We booked the more intimate wooden boat, but were rebooked hours prior to the trip on the larger steel boat , they made it sound like an exclusive offer, but no choice . Food quality marginal , very small portion. Tried to go fancy French, stick to Thai!

1.00Food is very terrible also no good wines either. View is good, don’t count on the food. Staff are friendly but not helpful because kitchen doesn’t use fresh ingredients. We had a second dinner right after the cruise.

5.00Lovely cruise on the Choa Praya River. The temples and buildings are beautifully illuminated. The dinner was simply delicious and the wait staff refilled wine glasses without asking.

2.00This was very overpriced for what is offered. This is far from a 5 star experience. The food was mediocre at best and served cold. From what is offered in Thailand in general, you’d be much better off choosing anything else.

5.00Sublime dinnercruise! The food is excellent, the ambiance is wonderful. This is not one of the big river cruise ships that offer dinner cruises. It is just a intimate setting and all tables are at a big open setting, which they can close with glass doors in case of rain. It also is table service 2 set menus to choose from at time of booking) so no buffet. De experience started with a warm welcome with a canapés at the dock an a Thai drink. Along the way the staff also explained the sights we saw. The food was wonderful: an amuse, an starter, a fish course, a meat course and a dessert. All very delicious. And rather whole staff is really friendly. If you booked the soft drink menu, you can alter it later into an alcoholic Bev.

1.00First of all, there was a total bait and switch with the boat. We reserved the beautiful and authentic former rice barge, the Manohra, and instead ended up on a plain and unattractive boat called the Loy River Song. No one who worked on the cruise could explain why we were on this boat rather than the one we reserved. We would have left and disputed the reservation but it was our last night in Bangkok. When you search for the Manohra online, every photo is of a beautiful vintage former rice barge, not the plain and unattractive boat we ended up on which had no ambience whatsoever. The food was mediocre, there was a couple in front of us making out almost the entire cruise, and then we arrived back at the Anantara at the end of the cruise promptly at 10:25, the shuttle boat back to the pier only had a few people on it but told us to wait another 30 mins in the rain for the next shuttle and proceeded to leave without us!!! The whole experience was completely disappointing starting with the change of the boat without any notice. If this isn’t resolved in a proper manner, I will dispute the charge with my credit card company. Thank you for your prompt attention to this matter.
