• Awesome trip to Kilimanjaro

  We realised that there are so many different companies that organise trips to Kilimanjaro and Safaris. Migration venture gave us good price for it and reviews were amazing. So we booked. The day before start of the hike guides came and reviewed if we have everything we need (shoes, jackets, thick gloves, water bottles - plastic ones are not allowed on the mountain). If you are missing something you can rent it. The crew was big for two of us we had 2guides, 1cook and 8porters. We didnt book a private tour but we got it. We realised it was perfect because some companies organise really big groups (15+people) and than their pace always has to be slow… They all really did excellent job - they are friendly, they carry everything except the daily backpack (water, jacket, camera). They provide everything (and more!) - you get water for wash every morning and evening, food was very good - pancakes for breakfast on 4000m!. The tent was always ready when we came and it was always set at the best place. We set the pace for walking and we were at the top just in time for sunrise (6:15). Awesome experience! Guides Siza and Vitalis were the best. And the end of the tour we gave tips to the team (Amos tells you how much you are supposed to tip) and we drank a few beers together. We were all happy 🙂 We also met chief of the company Amos which is very friendly and takes time after every tour to know if something was wrong and what we liked. He is also the first one that knows that people from Europe are not all rich but we save money for a trip like this. He really wants to give to tourist as much as he can. And the communication via whatsapp is very convinient. I would really recommend this agency - we also did safari with them and they gave us good discount for combining the tours. I transfered all the money beforehand via bank transfer, no problem.

  Why Book here? 1. It is great people that make a great company: we met a team of amazing people 2. Professional, flexible and extremely service oriented 3. Going that extra mile where work is forgotten and friends are made Advice: If renting gear (might save costs on new stuff you’ll only wear once or luggage weight) ensure everything is working properly. Organising the Trip We got referred via a friend and so happy we booked here. We met Amos (owner) and Isaiah (manager) in the Moshi office a day before departure and immediately felt welcome. Great energy, great personalities, great sense of humour. Organising the trip for the next day was done instantly, we rented a lot of gear we needed for the climb and went through all our personal preferences (e.g. food requests) which were dealt with straight away. The guys took the time to also come to our hotel later that day to finalise the last details instead of us needing to go back to the office. Very flexible! The Actual Trip We had a great crew (guides, porters, chef, waiter) who we met early morning of day 1. Incredibly nice crew, all smiling faces and a very positive attitude. This continued for the rest of the journey. A group of competent people, every day of the trip they ensured we could focus on the hike/climb as much as possible. Our guides Goodluck and Nicolas were everything you wish for in professional climbing support: friendly, positive and very knowledgeable not only about the technical aspects of the climb, but also about the nature and the (cultural) history of the Kilimanjaro. And especially on the last day of the summit, which was intense, they provided all the (mental and physical) support needed, ending up dancing and singing on top of the Kilimanjaro to celebrate we made it! Special thanks also to the rest of the crew. Everyday we received great care, great local food, nice tea breaks and lunch packages to go. The porters were always a step ahead of us, making sure the next camp was prepared for our arrival! We could not have done it without these guys. We celebrated all together on the last day with a few beers before saying goodbye.

  Perfectly organised trip for a single female travelling alone and a special thank you to the whole team … Amos was excellent at managing the arrangements and bookings, Issa was the perfect host making sure I got where I needed to be from airport to helping me go to the atm … and team JoJo - my mountain team so much respect for what you do 🙂 definitely recommend this company if impeccable service with a smile is what you would like. Everyone was so Kind, honest and considerate.

  

• Great Kilimanjaro Experience

  I joined a group of 4 to do Kilimanjaro Marangu route with Migration Venture Africa. The climbing experience was fantastic with us all getting to the summit at Uhuru Peak. I owe my success to Vitalis our chief guide for the Trek. He led our climbing party excellently and kept us safe. He planned the daily treks well so that we kept good climbing pace. We had good tents and mattresses. The food was delicious and nutritious and our cook served different meals everyday. The summit night climb was is not easy and I almost gave up at Stella point but Vitalis encouraged me and I found myself summit extremely worn out but there. It was unbelievable standing there and feeling a sudden warm rush of joy. This is a great company with great staff who aided my climb excellently. For Kilimanjaro I recommend them

  We recently had an amazing experience to Kilimanjaro summit on the Marangu route. The whole process is organized well with an easy process, secure payment, experienced professional guides, reliable equipment, delicious food and to crown it all jovial company of the climbing crew. Amos was great all through, he attended to all details for our trip and they went smoothly. Timely transfers from/to airport, park fees, booked hotels and alloted a wonderful trekking crew with Eric in the leader guide. Trekking experience was great passing through different levels of the mountain which are distinctly different. Eric took our safety very seriously with oxygen level checks in the morning and evening. The trails are well marked but steep as you get to the summit. You have to summon all your efforts to make it there. The four of us in our party all made it to the summit!!! A huge thank you to Amos and the great team including Marco who cooked for us fine meals. I am recommending all my people to come for your excellent service.
