Our industry leading small group tours have only 8 people max verses 15 people for your safety and enjoyment. Our kayaks are very stable, have a wide opening, are very comfortable and it covers the side of guests legs which helps in the tunnels when guests run into the branches. We have the earliest start time on our morning trip, a midday and a mid afternoon. Our guides have extensive kayaking guiding experience on both flat water and whitewater which for guest safety in these tidal areas. This is our 20th year with our kayaking company in southwest Florida and when you paddle with us it’s like visiting with good friends during the best time of the day. Minimum 2 people to book this tour.

We encourage guest to bring their own water but we have bottled water for each guest (if) needed
extra glasses holders if guests don't have them to keep them safe in the tunnels

What To Expect
Rookery Bay National Estuarine Research Reserve
Join us on our mangrove maze adventure on our the most comfortable and stable kayaks on the water. On our industry leading small group adventures (no more than 8 people max), we will keep our eyes out for ospreys diving for fish, pelicans flying overhead, mullet fish leaping out of the water, marine life on the mudflats, dolphins, and much more. We believe this a really fun way to get some sun and exercise while on vacation paddling thru these magnificent mangrove mazes and tunnels in SouthWest Florida. If paddling with alligators isn’t for you this is a great trip close to Naples and people staying in Marco island.

5.00Thoroughly enjoyable Kayaking experience around the Everglades. We had a fantastic guide called James who was very personable, knowledgeable and encouraging. We are in are mid-60’s and reasonably fit and the route and length was perfect. James is a star.

5.00I have done the Mangrove tour twice and had an outstanding time, both times. This kayak tour is the best way to experience the Everglades. And passing through the tightly-woven, cavernous Mangrove tunnels adds a fun challenge (I would discourage tandem kayaks for this one). I would like to give a shout out to our tour guide, Aiden. He is very passionate about his work and provides great information on this region's fauna, flora, and history. As a Floridian, I would not recommend visiting the Everglades during the Summer. If the heat doesn't get you, the deer flies and mosquitos will show no mercy. It's best to visit between November - April, in the cooler season.

5.00We signed up for a 2-hour kayaking tour into mangrove tunnels. About 10 minutes into the trip we realized that the tour was too strenuous for us (we are healthy 70 somethings). The guide James was very accomodating and changed the itinerary to a slow paddling along the shorelines, that still included very interesting information about the flora and fauna. We were very pleased that we still were able to have a fun and informative experience
