Climb up into the Safari truck, fasten your seatbelt and get ready for the Around the Island Safari Truck Tour! Your tour guide driver will be showing you historical sites, celebrity neighborhoods, mega mansions and more. We'll jump out and explore an ancient indian shell mound and talk about the native americans that lived here before us. We'll dive into how Marco Island turned into a tourist destination and became developed in the 1960s. But wait... what about the animals? We should be able to spot burrowing owls, gopher tortoises, green iguanas and birds of prey if we're lucky. This fun sightseeing tour lasts 1 HR and 30 mins. Kids can enjoy the on-board scavenger hunt where they look for landmarks and animals while we drive and win a prize at the end.

What To Expect
Marco Island
Your tour guide and driver will take you past multimillion dollar homes, historical sites & animal burrows on this sightseeing tour. Your tour guide will be pointing out interesting landmarks & talking to you about the history of the island. We typically have an opportunity to see burrowing owls, green iguanas, birds of prey & gopher tortoises! Our safari truck is family friendly and can hold up to 14 passengers. Kids will enjoy an on-board scavenger hunt and can even win a prize! ...and did we mention there's plenty of cheesy dad jokes? This is the most fun you can have on land in Marco Island!

Binoculars included. Blanket included if its cold (rare).
Restroom (porta-potty) available in our parking lot.
Free Parking. When you arrive, we'll greet you and tell you where to park.
NO INFANTS SORRY! Children under age 1 cannot participate.
NO Pets, No Food, No Smoking, No Vaping, No ringtones, No talking on cellphone during tour please!
Gratuity is customary and always appreciated after the tour :)

5.00Book ahead, we got very lucky booking a slot the night before. It was absolutely brilliant! A unique way to see Marco island, Glen was extremely informative with great humour and certainly had an eye for spotting any wildlife…. And much to my pleasant surprise, we saw a lot! The real bonus for me was just how many Burrowing Owls there were, something I’ve always wanted to see! I can imagine kids loving this too and they are certainly catered for, as are disabled. A great mix of learning some history of the area, having a nose at the beautiful mansions and the wildlife ( binoculars supplied too!) Very impressed, highly recommend

5.00Glen, the owner and tour guide was very personable, knowledgeable, and fun. On our tour around Marco, he showed/took us all the interesting sites while explaining the history of the island and its residents. While on tour we were lucky enough to see a lot of critters, I.e., ospreys, burrowing owls, iguana, gopher tortoises, curly tailed lizards, and even a black racer. Great experience.

5.00The Marco Island Safari Truck Tour was SO much fun! 🐢🌴🚛 The open-air safari truck made the whole experience feel adventurous and way more fun then we ever expected. We cruised past beautiful waterfront homes, spotted wildlife, learned cool Marco Island history, and laughed the entire time thanks to the hilarious guide 😂 We saw burrowing owls, iguanas, osprey, and even gopher tortoises! The guide was incredibly knowledgeable and made the tour entertaining from start to finish. Such a fun way to experience Marco Island — highly recommend!
