Start with a chocolate tasting (coffee available) before taking in coastal views, climatic insights and seasonal whale watching (June–Oct, sightings not guaranteed).
The highlight of the day is our BLIND TASTING EXPERIENCE: A Guided Wine Dissection. Using our simplifying Tasting Technique and Template (+ongoing access), you'll make your own tasting notes and find it easy to identify advanced colours, aromas, and flavours. This process makes describing wine easy and fun, and you’ll gain ongoing knowledge to confidently evaluate any wine, in any setting.
Lunch follows at Olio Bello, with woodfired pizzas, salads, wine and olive oil + skincare sampling. The afternoon consists of tastings at two boutique wineries and a scenic vineyard for glass of wine and cheeseboard, concluding with a brewery visit.
This tours blends enjoyment and education: An ideal introduction to Margaret River for those pursuing a deeper connection to the region.

Gabriel Chocolate
Gabriel Chocolate specialises in single-origin chocolate. At its Wilyabrup location, visitors can taste a range of flavours, from creamy milk, to intense 99% darks. A morning coffee is also available from their local cafe.
Cowaramup Bay
Look over the South-West’s rugged cliffs, turquoise waves crashing against the rocky shore, and surfers catching breaks in the distance. The viewing point is a prime opportunity to spot whales during their miratory period (July to late October). *Subject to weather, time and how happy the whales are*

5.00Our guide Caroline was truly one of the best we’ve had. A local for the past seven years, she shared so many great insider tips and local knowledge throughout the day. With a master’s degree in winemaking and hands-on experience working at several of the vineyards, her insight into the Margaret River region and its wines was exceptional. She brought the wineries and the wines to life with her stories and expertise. If you’re visiting Margaret River, make sure you ask for Caroline — she made the tour unforgettable.

5.00Great last minute wine tour in Margaret river. After we got cancelled on by another one. Took us to a lovely lunch spot for wine tasting and learning. Then a few boutique wine stops for a variety of wines to try and then a final stop in a brewery in the sun. All in all. Good chat. Good people. Good communication. Good driver ! .. good good good ! 5.00We thoroughly enjoyed the day. We were picked up from our campsite at RAC Margaret River and with only 11 of us on board. We started sharing our experiences in WA which quickly lead to great camaraderie onboard. Our host and driver Caroline was a wealth of information which enhanced the experience. Starting the day with coffee and chocolate and ending with a marriage proposal for one of the couples (she said yes), we piled out of the bus for a group photo when we left at our stop. Highly recommend if you’re in the area.

5.00We had a wonderful French guide Caroline who was absolutely amazing. She previously worked and studied in the wine industry in France and her knowledge of winemaking and wine was so insightful. She was friendly and knowledgeable of the Margaret river region and went out of her way to explain the wine making process and the region of Margaret river wineries that we visited. 5.00We had the best time on the Waves of wine tour! Jeremy was such an amazing guide fun, knowledgeable, and so passionate about Margaret River. The blind wine tasting was such a highlight the wines, oils, nougat, and chocolate were all incredible. I did the tour for my birthday, and it was honestly the best birthday ever! We loved it so much we wanted to do it all again the next day. Highly recommend!
