Make Margaret River Touring effortless.
Start with a chocolate tasting (coffee available) before taking in coastal views, climatic insights and seasonal whale watching (June–Oct, sightings not guaranteed).
The highlight of the day is our BLIND TASTING EXPERIENCE: A Guided Wine Dissection. Using our simplifying Tasting Technique and Template (+ongoing access), you'll make your own tasting notes and find it easy to identify advanced colours, aromas, and flavours. This process makes describing wine easy and fun, and you’ll gain ongoing knowledge to confidently evaluate any wine, in any setting.
Lunch follows at Olio Bello, with woodfired pizzas, salads, wine and olive oil + skincare sampling. The afternoon consists of tastings at two boutique wineries and a scenic vineyard for glass of wine and cheeseboard, concluding with a brewery visit.
This tours blends enjoyment and education: An ideal introduction to Margaret River for those pursuing a deeper connection to the region.

Passengers are responsible for their own wellbeing during the tour. Waves of Wine Tours is not liable for: Medical conditions or incidents arising from food or beverage consumption and Injuries or reactions resulting from tour activities
Any behaviour that endangers or disrupts other guests, members of the public, or venue staff will not be tolerated. Passengers may be removed from the tour if necessary.
If a passenger is removed from the tour, Waves of Wine Tours is not responsible for any associated transport or accommodation costs.
Guests are encouraged not to consume alcohol within 8 hours prior to pick-up.
If a passenger displays signs of intoxication at any point: • They may be asked to take a break from tastings • In serious cases, they may be removed from the tour
All guests consuming alcohol must be 18 years or older.

Gabriel Chocolate specialises in single-origin chocolate. At its Wilyabrup location, visitors can taste a range of flavours, from creamy milk, to intense 99% darks. A morning coffee is also available from their local cafe.
Cowaramup Bay
Look over the South-West’s rugged cliffs, turquoise waves crashing against the rocky shore, and surfers catching breaks in the distance. The viewing point is a prime opportunity to spot whales during their miratory period (July to late October). *Subject to weather, time and how happy the whales are*

5.00We had an absolutely fantastic experience on this wine tour. The personalised service made the day feel special from start to finish, and it was clear that a lot of thought had gone into every aspect of the itinerary. The food was amazing, and each stop was carefully selected to provide a great variety of experiences. The local knowledge shared throughout the tour was excellent, with informative and engaging explanations about the region and its wines that really enhanced the tastings. There was a generous number of tastings, with a wonderful selection that catered to different tastes and preferences, ensuring there was something for everyone to enjoy. The balance of wine, food, scenery, and information was perfect. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a relaxed, well-organised, and memorable wine tour experience. We would happily do it again!

5.00Anna was amazing. Couldn’t have asked for a better tour guide. She was informative friendly and inclusive. Great doubt for anyone and everyone. Great variety of wine to taste. Food at Olio Bello was generous and very tasty. It’s a vegetarian option was delicious. Highly recommend this to especially with Anna as guide.

5.00Wonderful Having been on a few wine tasting tours (OK, a great number), this was one of the best. While it started with chocolate- not a great start for wine tasting, we quickly followed up with a lesson in wine tasting and what to look for when tasting wine - with a great worksheet that you can use again. This was quickly followed up by some of the best pizza we have had in Australia, and that says a lot having tried almost every pizza restaurant in Naples. Then things turned serious with wine tasting at three boutique vineyards where we could try out our new knowledge. Anna was very helpful with helping us to describe and understand what we were looking for when tasting. OK, it was a little more expensive than we realised, but that was because we were buying a few bottles that we were tasting - always a great sign. Finished off at a brewery- no I couldn’t understand that either. Brilliant day, brilliant group and excellent guide

Our guide Caroline was incredible, knowledgeable, friendly, and passionate about the region, sharing interesting stories about the wineries, the history, and the wine-making process along the way.

5.00Had a fabulous day on our Wine Tour of Margaret River. Jeremy was a great tour guide, with good local knowledge and the venues were beautifully presented, as were their wines. Started with a nice drive to a popular, beautiful surf beach. Chocolate tasting, Olio Bellos pizza lunch & delicious salad with some blind tastings, more wine tasting at 2 gorgeous wineries, cheese board and more wine, finishing with a beer at a brewery overlooking their dam. A really fun day with lovely travellers joining the tour as well.
Great tour! Would do it again.

5.00We had a fantastic time with our friends. We meet some wonderful people and we all got along well. We loved going to smaller boutique producers. Anna, our guide and driver was very knowledgeable, friendly and wrangled us well, at the end of the tour.

Caroline did a fantastic job providing us the necessary information on the region’s history and each winery’s own background to enable us to truly appreciate our day. We were able to sample multiple award winning wines. We were so blessed to be accompanied by a phenomenal group of fellow travelers that made our day extra special. 5.00This is the absolute best wine experience ever. A fabulous blend of everything…. Learning about wine, tasting, the region, chocolate and all things Margaret River. A special mention to our guide Carolina…. She is a wealth of knowledge and a bundle of fun. Thoroughly recommend this tour.
