A tour to discover the legacy of Italian immigrants in a beautiful journey full of history in Maria Fumaça and in the Epopeia Italiana Cultural Park, an audiovisual show with stagings that portray the difficulties and obstacles that immigrants encountered in Brazil at the end of the 19th century.

In addition to history, the visitor will get to know the flavors and aromas of wines from a winery on the Rota dos Espumantes that has been operating for over eight decades and has been the protagonist of a story in which tradition and avant-garde blend in perfect harmony with most awarded wines and sparkling wines in Brazil.

To complete the tour, there is a visit to an artisanal truffle shop, which stands out for the manual production of truffles that guarantees an irregular shape, which hides inside a surprising and irresistible creamy filling. All visitation fees are included in the tour price.

The Maria Fumaça Tour is an experience that should be included in your schedule when you are in Bento Gonçalves and region. The tour lasts around 90 minutes and includes typical presentations, regional live music and wine and juice tasting. It passes through three beautiful cities: Bento Gonçalves, Garibaldi and Carlos Barbosa or vice versa. I suggest you make your reservation by Giordani tourism (official operator of this tour).

The Maria Smoke Tour itself is wonderful, but the agency needs to improve! Closed with the Gramado Tour, they make you leave the hotel at 6 a.m. (before coffee time) and stop at a PESSIMA roadside snack bar, with a huge queue, possibly just because they should get some commission back. Everyone on the bus was upset about it. At the end also a completely unnecessary break in a shop Tramontina, a Tour that took 14 hours could have been done in 12 at most. Besides, the tour is great, good music, good wines, plenty of history, Maria Fumaça tour is worth it.

Shady! Worse impossible! The tour of Maria Fumaça is short, then you are put on a bus that makes 1000 stops contracted with bad food, bad wine, unattended guide. They sell everything on the way from refrigerator magnet to dubious wine. On the way to improving dropped barrier, it is not difficult to listen to stories of people who decide to pick up an Uber and leave in the middle of the tour.

After an hour and a half of overly noisy presentations and two glasses of wine, we were allocated to an air-conditioned bus at 32 degrees. To complete the frustration, the bus is unable to follow the journey. We're on the edge of the runway - tire problems. I do not recommend the investment in any way.

Once in 2018 when I took the tour, everything was wonderful. I did it again in 2025 and it's not even a shadow of what it was. Once there were at least 2 or 3 stops... we tasted a lot of wine, there was no sale of products inside the trains. Just entertainment that also diminished horrors....for the price you pay and the train making only one stop for tasting was absurd....

Experience of a whole day, pick you up in the hotel early, take you to Bento Gonçalves where the train departs. The view from the train is not the most beautiful for you already have the habit of doing this type of trip. e.g. Curtiba x Morretes, Tiradentes . But the entertainment aboard is wonderful, many singers and clear wine tasting.

The tour is very fun, we did by Giordani tourism. During the journey there are performances in the train wagon, (regional music with sanfona, theater of a couple of Italians, well funny; wine tasting and sparkling). My tip is to make the shortest ride, as it becomes tired, because the train goes very slowly. We took the train in Bento Gonçalves, went to Garibaldi, then we returned to Bento with the bus from Giordani and there we watched the Italian Epopeia. For those who have never made the walk, I find it interesting to know, it is quite cool. A different experience, where we refer to the past.
