You’ll learn to craft your own criollo corn tortillas and enjoy them with delicious side dishes and a refreshing Guatemalan beverage. At the Central Market of Antigua, you can taste atoles, tostadas, fresh fruits, recados, and traditional sweets (6 food tastings). To begin the tortilla workshop with a local family, we will take a Tuc Tuc to Santa Ana after leaving the market. The workshop will cover corn history, how to ground corn on a stone, how to make colorful tortillas, and how to serve them with beans, avocado, cheese, and a traditional beverage.
