Masada National Park
Masada was declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 2001. In 2007, the Masada Museum in Memory of Yigael Yadin opened at the site, in which archeological findings are displayed in a theatrical setting. Many of the artifacts exhibited were unearthed by Yadin and his archaeological team from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem during the 1960s.
Dead Sea
The Dead Sea has attracted visitors from around the Mediterranean Basin for thousands of years. It was one of the world's first health resorts (for Herod the Great), and it has been the supplier of a wide variety of products, from asphalt for Egyptian mummification to potash for fertilisers. People also use the salt and the minerals from the Dead Sea to create cosmetics and herbal sachets.

Our tour with Chava was fantastic! She picked us up right on time, and from the start, her warmth and enthusiasm shone through. Her background in archaeology gave her unique insights into Masada, bringing the historical site to life with details you'd never get from just wandering around on your own. Even though I'd visited both Masada and the Dead Sea before, having Chava guide our group made it feel like a completely new experience. She took her time explaining everything and happily answered all our questions without ever making us feel rushed. What really stood out was how she balanced historical information with keeping things interesting - we never felt bored. She also went out of her way to make sure we found a good lunch spot with vegan options for us. If you're considering this tour, it's definitely worth it. Chava's knowledge and personal touch made all the difference!

Great day out to visit Massada and the Dead Sea. Despite the distance from Tel Aviv and a short stop in Jerusalem for additional pickups, day was fun. I credit Norbert, our guide, for such as he was able to share his knowledge in a very fun way. Logistics, with hotel pickups and drop offs were perfect and on time
