I recently took an online class with Maui Mona Lisa where she taught me how to make a beautiful puka shell necklace. Her work is stunning on its own, but what makes each piece truly extraordinary is that she personally dives for every shell. Her love, intention, and artistry flow through every step of her process. I first met Mona Lisa when she helped us bring together the ceremony for Scott, and we’ve stayed connected ever since. She is world-renowned for a reason…every creation she makes carries a depth, beauty, and spirit that is uniquely hers. This experience would make any gathering ( or alone) or even an incredible “come-together and create” event for a bride and her wedding party. Mona Lisa can dedicate special time and intention to craft an Aloha inspired ceremony, dive for the shells, and then host a live Zoom class from Maui, no matter where you are. With enough planning, she can arrange everything: gather the shells, prepare beautifully packaged kits, ship them to your group, and then guide everyone through making their own pieces together. I absolutely love the necklace I created, and I truly loved spending an afternoon learning from her. Mahalo Mona Lisa !
