What To Expect
Embark on a day of adventure into Belize's jungle reserve and Cave system which was once home to the Mayan kingdom. First, You'll get to hike (10-15min) through the jungle trails leading up to the massive Cave system with beautiful but calm river flowing through. On the hike you'll get a lesson on plant identification and a history of the area and culture. Then at the entrance of the cave system, which the mayans used themselves, you'll hop onto a tube and raft down a easy flowing river. Inside the cave your get to explore and learn about the exotic mayan artifacts left behind inside and get a lesson cave structures. Then we have lunch at a local restaurant to try world renown Belizean cruisins. Lastly we zip line through the jungle canopy, over the river, with a series of zips that will leave you in awe with the scenery from above.

5.00We had an amazing time on the Mayan temple, cave tubing, and zip-line tour. Josh was an outstanding guide — super friendly, knowledgeable, and easy to talk to. He explained the history really well, made the adventure parts fun and safe, and kept the whole day running smoothly. Highly recommend this tour, and if you can, ask for Josh! He made the experience unforgettable.

5.00We had an un-Belize-able experience seeing the Mayan ruins, ziplining and cave tubing! Our tour guide, Ansar, was knowledgeable and friendly. He checked in with everyone multiple times throughout the day to ensure that everyone on the tour was having the best experience possible. It was an unforgettable trip, thanks to Ansar!

It rained on and off throughout the tour but it was still a great time and everything still went very smooth

5.00Brian was absolutely amazing and took the already magnificent experience to the highest level! We spent the perfect amount of time exploring Altun Ha and learning so much about the history and plant life. The zip lining was beautiful and lunch was delicious. The cave tubing was wonderful and serene. The itinerary had a perfect balance of fun, adventure and relaxation. I highly recommend this company and Brian for all of your Belizean adventures. They communicated perfectly, were dependable and made you feel so comfortable and valued. Well done Salt Life Eco tours!!
