The beginning of this excursion was uncomfortable and confusing as we navigated to find our tour guide who was from Five Star and not the listed company “Salt Life.” After that was sorted out we met Kenton (AKA: Cousin Kenton). The most knowledgeable, humorous, and kind tour guide who made this first time visit to Belize UN-BELIZABLE. From the moment we entered to clean and comfortable van, expectations were set early and the tour began. The van ride included snacks, water, and a meal we would share at our cave tubing destination. The time the drive took from the tourism port terminal to the caves went quickly. From the sleeping man (a mountain resembling a sleeping giant) to the small towns and wildlife made the drive as wonderful as the visit to the national park where the cave tubing and zip-lining took place. The park had all you need from souvenirs to water shoe rentals. The hike up to the first cave entrance was approximately a mile, and again, Cousin Kenton shined with a slight detour from the normal route to showcase his knowledge and the wonderment of the dry cave. The fun we had opening up our minds to consider what the natural rock formations of the stalagmites and stalactites looked like included a bear, the Simpson’s, Angels wings, and many other similarities throughout the hike and the tubing. The zip line was superb which included two trained guides who videoed us with our phone, assured our safety, and shared the beauty of this park. From the 1000 foot span along the river we tubed to the speedy line that reach 35 MPH. The zip line was exhilarating, picturesque, and liberating from the earlier part of our excursion. This hands on tour is an easy tour to choose after the experience we had. These are the tours, and Cousin Kenton is the kind of tour guide, which creates promoters and return visitors. Cousin Kenton went above and beyond our expectations for this tour and the price of admission to have this day was well worth the cost to play. This tour is a no brainer, and if you can specifically select Cousin Kenton as your guide, you will head home with incredible photos, stories, and impact from the experience this tour delivered. Don’t let this opportunity pass you by.

Kenton our guide was amazing. He was engaging, funny, snd very kind. I traveled with another family and he was great with our kids. His tour included a great nature walk to the caves where we could see and understand more about Belize's rainforest. I highly recommend this company and Kenton again

The entire experience was fantastic! Joshua provided all the information I needed and met me at the express ferry station in Belize City. He and he partner provided info on the history of Belize while we traveled to the zip line park. The nature walk to the cave float was filled with information on the plants and animals in the broadleaf forest. The local meal after the adventures was delicious and efficient. I would definitely recommend them for anyone looking for fun exploring outside of Belize City.

Ansar provided a great experience with us and is extremely knowledgeable about pretty much everything about the country. During the tour he pointed out various interesting places including even explaining different plants to us. He provided great customer service. The zip line was really fun and beautiful and the cave is an absolute must see. There are different zip lines and caves you can go to and he takes you to the nicest ones. Make sure you have good water shoes that can also be used for hiking. Thanks Ansar!

Our experience was fantastic!!! The company was great to communicate. We booked it the night before. Around midnight I woke up and remembered that I get car sick and needed to request to sit upfront. I sent a message and got a response within minutes. I was not expecting that. However, they accommodated me. They also asked if we wanted to add the Mayan Temple to our excursion for an additional small fee. I said “yes” and they gave me a choice on how to pay: Zelle or cash. It was so smooth. The communicated the pickup time from the hotel and anything additional I needed to expect. We had Ansaar as our tour guide. He was awesome!!! I’d give him 10 stars! He was knowledgeable and helped everyone in our diverse group. He had everything arranged and communicated a long the way. He was positive and outgoing. He made it fun! Our first stop was zip lining. The company we zip lined with was great. All the staff were friendly and ensured our safety. The bathrooms were clean and there were several of them. At tubing, we divide into two groups beacuse there were so many of us. We got George Jones (aka George of the Jungle) as our guide. He made the tubing fun and very informative. I felt safe and confident. Our last stop was the Mayan Temple. Ansaar knew his stuff. Throughout the excursion he also offered to take photos. Upon our return to the city, several people in our group needed to catch the water taxis back to the islands they were staying on. Ansaar ensured they were back in time, which wasn’t an easy feet with the traffic. This excursion was one to remember and Ansaar made it worth it! Also, I appreciated how Josh communicated and responded to my messages. I highly recommend Salt Life Eco Tours! Thank you for an adventure of a lifetime!
