The journey continues to the Parque Memorial de la Inflexión, a powerful tribute to the victims of car bombings, assassinations, and violence during Escobar’s war against the state. Built on the former site of his Monaco building, it stands today as a symbol of resilience and transformation.
Finally, visit the Cementerio Jardines Montesacro, where Escobar, his family members, and the infamous “Godmother of Cocaine,” Griselda Blanco, are buried.
The tour ends back at “Recuerdos Viajeros,” leaving you with a deeper understanding of Medellín’s history—how a city once scarred by violence has risen with strength and hope.

What To Expect
Cementerio Jardines Montesacro
Pablo Escobar, his parents, and other family members are buried in the cemetery. You will also find the grave of Griselda Blanco, the "Godmother of Cocaine."
On the former site of the infamous Mónaco Building now stands a monument honoring the victims of violence, car bombings, and murders caused by the war Escobar waged against the government. It is a space for reflection and remembrance.

5.00Such an amazing tour and 100% recommended. My girlfriend and I had a private tour with Esteban (at a better price than the groups), and learnt so much. The structure was great, as you drive between key locations, he tells you the history of Pablo Escobar from childhood, the start of his criminal career, all the way to his death. We were welcome to ask questions as we went so there was no confusion. At the end we had time to chat about the fallout after his death and about life in Medellín today. Thank you Esteban for being so attentive and showing us such a great time. (BOOK THIS TOUR!)
