Our tour guide, Mimi, was great at telling the stories about the stops we visited. She extended the tour to cover some important stops, which was very much appreciated. The walking trail itself was well planned and is recommended for first-time visitors.

The experience was honestly amazing! Our guide, Mimi, shared with us the history of Melaka in a very interesting and fun way. She showed us all the historical sites, provided us with breaks to get refreshments and taught us how to dance a malay dance. It was one of the most fun tours I have ever been to!

I had a wonderful walking tour experience in Melaka, thanks to our amazing guide, Mimi. She was incredibly enthusiastic and eager to share her knowledge of Melaka’s rich history and culture. The trip was very fun, lively, and full of positive energy. Mimi made the tour truly engaging by teaching us the traditional Malay dance Joget and even singing the Melaka state anthem with us, which made the experience both entertaining and memorable. It was an interactive and enjoyable tour, and we learned so much about Melaka’s history along the way. Highly recommended!

We recently had the immense pleasure of taking a three-hour private tour of the Dutch Square with Nur Syamimi Binti Abdul Hamid, or Mimi, and it was an experience we will cherish. Mimi is truly a world-class tour guide, and we left feeling thoroughly and historically enriched. Exceptional Historical Depth: Mimi's knowledge of Melaka’s history is simply breathtaking, extending far beyond the Dutch Square to encompass all the major historical and cultural sites in the city. She presented the timeline with such detail, precision, and conciseness that every minute was an eye-opener. She expertly contextualized Melaka's importance within Malaysian and global history, demonstrating that she has studied the region's history and the world exceptionally well. Her ability to synthesize complex information was remarkable. Caring and Thoughtful Service: Beyond her expertise, Mimi showed genuine care and thoughtfulness, especially towards my elderly parents-in-law. She meticulously planned the entire route, ensuring we took the best paths and cleverly navigated to cut down on walking distance and avoid unnecessarily hiking the hill. This level of personalized attention made the tour comfortable and enjoyable for everyone in our party. A True Expert: We felt no stone was left unturned. Mimi answered every single question we posed with confidence and detail, proving her comprehensive mastery of the subject matter. Finally, Mimi was a delight to be around—lively, animated, and constantly wearing a welcoming smile. She made three hours fly by. We highly recommend booking a private tour with Mimi for anyone visiting the Dutch Square; she is truly an asset and made our time in Melaka unforgettable!
