Join us for Whale Watching in our cool Alaskan waters and then view one of 38 glaciers from the Juneau Ice Fields - the spectacular Mendenhall Glacier. We guide you on a 2 hour whale watching tour, spotting Humpback whales and other wildlife. Then off to the Mendenhall Glacier to spend some time hiking, watching fish spawn at Steep Creek or enjoy an outstanding view from the Visitor Center. You get 1.5 hours at the park, but don't worry! That is the perfect amount of time to walk to nugget falls and take in the displays at the visitor center.

Best excursion of our cruise! Greg, Noah, and Mason were amazing. We saw so many whales, even though it was early in the season (May 23). There were only 36 people on board, so it didn’t feel crowded, everyone could see. Highly recommend booking this excursion and supporting a local company directly vs going through your cruise ship!

We had a great trip with Captain Russell, Haylee and Jude! The day started rainy but then the sky opened up and the fog disappeared and it was breathtaking views of the Chilkat Mountains! We saw a whale very quickly into our trip, then a second a little while later, and then a 3rd - mom & calf! Haylee & Jude were very friendly and answered all questions and were quite knowledgeable when we were in the boat and they were discussing the area. We saw Flame - that was our second whale - and they told us a lot about her story as well! Very interesting! Then it was onto the Glacier with Chelle as our shuttle driver. She was very nice as well. The glacier was stunning and her suggestion to take the Nugget Falls trail to the waterfall was a must! Glad we did it! We saw a porcupine on the walk back and a bear from the shuttle bus on the ride back into town! Great trip!

Glacier was amazing, but need to walk to falls first even more exciting. Whales were plentiful and super exciting to see. Awesome tour!

Crew was very knowledgeable. Heard something about whale activity and actually went about 10 minutes past where they normally go to find it. We watched 3 whales for a while- surfacing and flipping their tale as well as hearing them blow. Very exciting.

Definitely try to do the glacier before the whale watch incase the weather is questionable. We had a great hike to the falls and a really rainy cold whale watch. We got one whale tail.

Excellent tour, family owned and operated. We saw humpback and orca whales plus lots of bald eagles. Small tour operation with great customer service. Don’t hesitate, book!

Great dual experience of Juneau Whale Watching and Mendenhall Glacier! Highly recommend. Our whale watching team was friendly, knowledgable and provided us with a safe whale watching experience! Thank you Joe, Viteri and Jack! The bus drivers also were great. Mendenhall Glacier we had enough time to hike to Nugget Falls and Picture Point along with a stop at the visitor center.

Excellent whale watching tour. Tour guides were very knowledgeable and passionate. We saw humpbacks, sea lions and got lucky with a rare siting of orcas! The tour ended with visit to the Mendenhall Glacier and visitor center. Highly recommend ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I expected a nicer bus. This is a family operated excursion so there are some nicer perks to it as we were able to catch an earlier trolley back. We have 2 small kids though and I probably should have splurged for something better than this as it was very cold outside.

We visited today as part of an excursion after coming off a cruise ship. Overall, very enjoyable. There were parts that were a bit boring (transfers), but when on the ship, while we did only really see one humpback whale...(which is better than none!), we came and saw! We also saw sea lions too and the narration was packed with enthusiasm and that was a real kicker...hearing from someone with so much passion. We saw Tucker the humpback :) Many thanks to Captain Joe, Jack and Travits (sorry, if i got your name wrong!). It isn't cheap but it is good trip and you don't need to worry about getting from a to b. If you want no stress, book here. If you want to save money and it yourself ? I don't know about that but this tour was seamless. Staff are great. But while some of the drivers didn't command presence or attend when narrating (people kept talking over them which was rude. Would recommend.
