Although we are the original whale-watching company in Juneau (operating since 1994), we are still small and family-owned and operated! We want you to feel like part of the family, and we pride ourselves on prioritizing local hires in order to give back to our community and give you the best possible tour experience. We want our guides to love Juneau as much as you do!
Our fleet consists of only mammal-friendly jet boats, and the small size and intimate setting will make you feel right at home with the whales.
We pride ourselves on our quick transfers between vehicles! We don't want you to wait any longer than you absolutely have to!

What To Expect
Mendenhall Glacier Visitor Center
You will be dropped off at the Mendenhall Glacier Recreation Area for a self guided stop. You will be able to overlook the glacier from Photo Point Outlook, and stop by educational displays at the Mendenhall Glacier Visitor Center. If you walk down the board walk over the salmon streams, you might get a chance to see spawning salmon, or even a bear!
Juneau
Take a mammal friendly jet boat out of Auke Bay Harbor, and explore the waters surrounding Juneau in search of the majestic humpback whale! This tour includes two hours on the water where an experienced captain will take you to where ever the whales are hanging out that day!

5.00This was a great tour! We loved learning more about the animals around Alaska while also getting to see a number of different humpback whales. Our driver and Naturalist were also very kind and knowledgable.

5.00We really enjoyed our trip today in Juneau. Seeing the glacier and walking to the waterfall was special and a great memory. We then headed to the boat for the whale watching portion and it was fantastic. The captain and the naturalist on board were personable, knowledgable, friendly and helped make our excursion one to remember. We got to see a mother and baby whale for a prolonged period, and it was wonderful. The snacks and drinks were welcomed also.

5.00Fantastic excursion! Very easy trail to Rainbow Falls by the glacier, which is a beautiful waterfall. Gorgeous bay for the boat ride with a small-ish group and saw several whales. Experience of a lifetime! Very nice staff as well!

5.00Wow. We saw numerous whales and also a breaching whale. The tour operator and naturalists were exceptional! This was our second time using this tour company and we highly recommend them. We had an issue with our ship coming in later than our tour was to begin. I was really sweating it. There were 10 of us and we were all an hour late. Thankfully this tour operator went out of their way to accommodate our lateness, which they didn’t have to do. We were so very grateful! Thank you, thank you again for making our family whale watching tour and Menden hall glacier experience very memorable.
