Join us for Whale Watching in our cool Alaskan waters and then view one of 38 glaciers from the Juneau Ice Fields - the spectacular Mendenhall Glacier. We guide you on a 2 hour whale watching tour, spotting Humpback whales and other wildlife. Then off to the Mendenhall Glacier to spend some time hiking, watching fish spawn at Steep Creek or enjoy an outstanding view from the Visitor Center. You get 1.5 hours at the park, but don't worry! That is the perfect amount of time to walk to nugget falls and take in the displays at the visitor center.

The whale watch was amazing! Jayden and Brock knew exactly where to take us, they were very informative, and it was an amazing adventure! We saw multiple whales with complete breaching, we saw one head slapping, a few with deep dives, very vocal sea lions, and two bald eagles on the whale watch adventure.:). We were then dropped off at Mendenhall glacier and they picked us back up on time. It’s a beautiful glacier and we really enjoyed Nugget Falls. We were back on the ship in plenty of time.

We had a great whale watching experience, saw Humpbacks and an Orca, followed by a visit to the Mendenhall Glacier where we hiked to see a spectacular waterfall. Noah was our tour guide on the whale watching tour, very knowledgeable guide. Russel, the boat captain took us to the whales. Busing to the boat and the glacier were handled by informative, friendly drivers who also provided commentary about the area, wildlife etc. Great experience!

Exactly as described - just amazing. Was pleasantly surprised how smooth the whole process was NOT using the cruise line to book.
