What To Expect
Messina
Get ready for an unforgettable experience! Our tour will start from Messina, the ancient "gateway to Sicily", where history and modernity, legends and traditions, resilience and beauty come together. After our meeting, along the panoramic road that runs along the port in the shape of a sickle, you will be able to admire the statue of the Madonna della Lettera, patron saint of Messina that welcomes anyone arriving from the sea. From here will begin our tour to two jewels of our territory: Castelmola and Taormina.
Castelmola
Our first stop will be the charming medieval village of Castelmola, perched on a hill overlooking the landscape! Castelmola, which was once the site of an ancient Norman castle, is now known to host one of the most particular bars in the world: the Bar Turrisi! An authentic Sicilian landmark known for its unique furnishings. Here we will take a break to explore the cultural significance of the iconic phallic shapes used as bar decorations. Far from being vulgar, they are a vivid tribute to ancient Greek culture, symbolising the very essence of freedom, fertility and life. This is the perfect place to enjoy a glass of the famous almond wine along with delicious Sicilian cannoli.

5.00We had a wonderful family tour from the port of Messina to Castelmola and Taormina. Everything about the day was enjoyable and well organized. Our driver, Alessandro, was fantastic and even arranged a special experience for a family celebration, which made the day especially memorable. Hana, our tour guide, was incredibly helpful and knowledgeable. She did a great job explaining what we were seeing and offered excellent recommendations for food and shopping along the way. Her guidance made the experience even better. I could not be happier with my choice to book this tour. It was a perfect day for our family, and I would absolutely recommend it to others.

5.00Our experience was seamless from start to finish. Hana was both knowledgeable and passionate about the history of the area. They even arranged a special surprise for our group! We had time to explore, eat the local food, and to shop with no stress. We left with many new memories that we won’t soon forget. I highly recommend Alessandro for your excursion. 5.00We had the best day touring Sicily with Alexandro and Pari. We had no idea we would have two wonderful guides throughout the day to show us this amazing place. They were on time picking us up in a spacious van at our cruise port. We were also back on time so no need to worry about that. I would highly recommend using this company.

5.00Pari and Fabrizio were SO fantastic!!!! Pari was our tour guide and Fabrizio was our driver. These two exceeded our expectations and made our day wonderful, probably our favorite trip! Pari was full of interesting knowledge and she was so well spoken and intelligent. My kids learned so many interesting facts and she was so sweet and fun with them! I could not have asked for a better tour!!
