Messina
Get ready for an unforgettable experience! Our tour will start from Messina, the ancient "gateway to Sicily", where history and modernity, legends and traditions, resilience and beauty come together. After our meeting, along the panoramic road that runs along the port in the shape of a sickle, you will be able to admire the statue of the Madonna della Lettera, patron saint of Messina that welcomes anyone arriving from the sea. From here will begin our tour to two jewels of our territory: Castelmola and Taormina.
Castelmola
Our first stop will be the charming medieval village of Castelmola, perched on a hill overlooking the landscape! Castelmola, which was once the site of an ancient Norman castle, is now known to host one of the most particular bars in the world: the Bar Turrisi! An authentic Sicilian landmark known for its unique furnishings. Here we will take a break to explore the cultural significance of the iconic phallic shapes used as bar decorations. Far from being vulgar, they are a vivid tribute to ancient Greek culture, symbolising the very essence of freedom, fertility and life. This is the perfect place to enjoy a glass of the famous almond wine along with delicious Sicilian cannoli.

5.00Marisa was the Guide with the “mostest”. She led a tour with 9 of us to Castelmola and Taormina. She was energetic, shared interesting facts about Sicily. I think our group concurred this was one of the most fun tours they had been on. She kept us on track with time and covered a lot of ground during our tour time. Our day included a tour of the gardens, a peek a Four Seasons where White Lotus was filmed, a visit to Bar Turrisi for Almond wine and Cannolis, lunch at a Taormina restaurant and the church and clock tower in Messina. Marisa and Alessandro made arrangements easy for us even though we were last minute booking. I highly recommend booking with them.

Fabrizio picked us up directly from the Messina cruise port when we arrived on the Sun Princess and gave our family an unforgettable day exploring Taormina and the surrounding area. He took us to breathtaking viewpoints we never would have found on our own and shared insights that made the experience even more special. What truly set him apart was his thoughtfulness and attention to detail. Throughout the day, he took photos of our family, including my husband, my mother, my three year old son, and me. While we were enjoying Taormina, he quietly went and had the photos professionally printed. When we returned to the car, he surprised us with them as a gift. It was such a meaningful gesture and is something we will treasure for years to come. Traveling with multiple generations can sometimes be challenging, but Fabrizio made the day enjoyable for everyone. My son was entertained, my mom was comfortable, and we all felt relaxed and well cared for from start to finish. His pricing was very fair, his vehicle was comfortable, and his service was outstanding. We enjoyed Sicily so much that we are already planning to return next year for a full week, and Fabrizio will be one of the first people we contact. Five stars are not enough. Highly recommended.

They went above and beyond to show us beautiful towns, panoramas and such fun and unique experiences!! We had SO much fun! 5.00We had a wonderful family tour from the port of Messina to Castelmola and Taormina. Everything about the day was enjoyable and well organized. Our driver, Alessandro, was fantastic and even arranged a special experience for a family celebration, which made the day especially memorable. Hana, our tour guide, was incredibly helpful and knowledgeable. She did a great job explaining what we were seeing and offered excellent recommendations for food and shopping along the way. Her guidance made the experience even better. I could not be happier with my choice to book this tour. It was a perfect day for our family, and I would absolutely recommend it to others.

5.00Our experience was seamless from start to finish. Hana was both knowledgeable and passionate about the history of the area. They even arranged a special surprise for our group!
