The Duomo, an iconic landmark built across six centuries, is among the four largest cathedrals in Europe.
During the two-hour guided tour, you’ll explore the cathedral’s artistic and architectural highlights and learn how its development connects with Milan’s history. Admire its Gothic details, along with numerous paintings and statues. Your guide will share legends linked to the Duomo and reveal pagan elements such as zodiac symbols.
You’ll also visit the underground crypt beneath the altar, where Archbishop Carlo Borromeo’s centuries-old tomb rests. Then ride the lift to the rooftop for panoramic views of the city. Optionally, add a 2-day Open Bus ticket to continue exploring Milan.

A dress code is required to enter places of worship and selected museums. No shorts or sleeveless tops allowed. Knees and shoulders MUST be covered for both men and women.
It is FORBIDDEN to introduce inside Duomo food, liquids, knifes, ceramic mugs and everything that can be used as blunt weapon.
Kindly consider that after the elevator, there are around 75 stairs in order to reach the top of the Cathedral, and back down at the end of the tour
On hot days, we recommend wearing a hat, applying sunscreen, and bringing a bottle of water to stay protected and hydrated during the tour.
If you selected the Open Bus Ticket, please show your voucher at the bus stop in Piazza Duomo, in front of the taxi stand. Look for the MILAN OPEN TOUR bus.

5.00There are steps to climb, and if you’re not physically fit, don’t plan on attending and holding up all the others. Additionally, as implied, it is a rooftop tour so if you’re afraid of heights and or have vertigo as someone in our party, did you should probably stay behind at the coffee shop.

5.00This was an awesome excursion, I think made it so good was our Tour Guide, Cara (I think that is her name). She was very knowledgeable and personable, before tour she asked groups where they were from and remembered everything and referenced what she knew about the places. It was very good to go up on the rooftop and see from that vantage and to be able to see the intricate design and detail of the structure.

1.00I rarely write negative reviews, but our experience with this company was extremely disappointing and deserved to be shared- This tour was scheduled several months in advance at 2:15pm- the same day we arrive at Italy at 10am to our hotel- perfect timing so we could unpacked and take a power nap prior to starting our adventure- less than a month before our tour, the company sent at email notifying without any option that the starting time was changed to 1pm- only email no more notifications afterwards- WE arrived at 2pm, the guy organizing all the people there knew perfectly who we were- but told us in a rude manner that he could do nothing that we had to call the company- We called four time, and never had a response- They starting sending pre-made messages via whatsapp and ultimately, sent us the entrance tickets and told us that they could not do anything else for us- period! No intention to modify the time or look for other alternatives- nothing. We tried speaking in several occasions with the tour guide on site, but he literally turned his back on us and resude to engage further. HIs lack of professionalism and empathy was impressive. The agency made no meaningful effort to accommodate us on a another tour that day. The other curious details is that another party of four had the same situation but they managed to get booked on the original time, which was the same as ours. We got the admission tickets via whatsapp which summed $200, we paid $574.37- Mistake do happen, but customer service fo this company is non-existent- I hope nobody endures the same sour situation we had our first day in ITALY. In our case, there was not effort to help, no accountability, no reasonable accommodation, no descent communication and no fair resolution despite repeated attempts- Based on our experience, I cannot recommend this company.
