The Duomo, an iconic landmark built across six centuries, is among the four largest cathedrals in Europe.
During the two-hour guided tour, you’ll explore the cathedral’s artistic and architectural highlights and learn how its development connects with Milan’s history. Admire its Gothic details, along with numerous paintings and statues. Your guide will share legends linked to the Duomo and reveal pagan elements such as zodiac symbols.
You’ll also visit the underground crypt beneath the altar, where Archbishop Carlo Borromeo’s centuries-old tomb rests. Then ride the lift to the rooftop for panoramic views of the city. Optionally, add a 2-day Open Bus ticket to continue exploring Milan.

A dress code is required to enter places of worship and selected museums. No shorts or sleeveless tops allowed. Knees and shoulders MUST be covered for both men and women.
It is FORBIDDEN to introduce inside Duomo food, liquids, knifes, ceramic mugs and everything that can be used as blunt weapon.
Kindly consider that after the elevator, there are around 75 stairs in order to reach the top of the Cathedral, and back down at the end of the tour
On hot days, we recommend wearing a hat, applying sunscreen, and bringing a bottle of water to stay protected and hydrated during the tour.
If you selected the Open Bus Ticket, please show your voucher at the bus stop in Piazza Duomo, in front of the taxi stand. Look for the MILAN OPEN TOUR bus.

4.00Signing in for our tour was chaotic. There was no rhyme or reason to the system for finding our names. Rather than using a QR code, the person scanned every name and they weren’t in alphabetical order! Our guide Carmine was good -he shared a lot of information and was friendly! I’d recommend the tour.

5.00This was an excellent tour. Our guide was friendly and very knowledgeable. The Duomo is stunning! Our guide mentioned that the Duomo looks pink around 830pm due to the sun's reflection. She was right! We had dinner at Obica rooftop after visiting the Duomo that morning. The views were breathtaking. Book this tour and have a dinner at one of the rooftop restaurants facing the Duomo. You won't regret it!

5.00Excellent tour! We were only in Milan for two nights and this was well worth it! Our guide Simon was so friendly and knowledgeable. Skipping the line was worth it especially in the heat of summer. The views from the roof were amazing and getting close to the architecture was a real experience. Simon made the tour interesting and entertaining! Inside the little hidden details one would otherwise miss and the monumental historical references were brilliant. Thoroughly enjoyed! 👏 thanks

5.00I dont normally engage in this type of activity but knew my wife would enjoy it. Well, we had a tour guide name Kiara and if it wasn't for I would have been bored stiff. She was so funny and knew everyone by out state or country. It was a pretty view and skipping the extremely long line of overheated tourists was fantastic. Pay the $150.

1.00If you want to learn NOTHING about the history of the Duomo and its role in Milan this is the tour and guide for you. All she talked about was looking “sexy”, why Milan was better than other leading cities, World Cup soccer and the heat. It was so disappointing to come all the way to Milan and hear nothing about the history of the Duomo. My family could have learnt more from Claude AI.
