What To Expect
Milos
We either depart 1) from the dock of Platis Gialos marina in Sifnos or 2) from the dock of Pollonia bay in Milos. 1) If we departed from Sifnos then we cruise the strait of Kimolos-Milos, in about 25 minutes we pass the northwest cape of wonderful Poliegos island and head towards the southeastern cape of Milos Island and the famous sulfur mines, we reach it after about 15 minutes. 2) If we departed from Milos then we cruise south from Pollonia and after 5.5 NM and less than 15 minutes we reach the famous sulfur mines.
Milos
We anchor and can swim to the beach where we can visit the old mine which was operating until the mid-1950s. It’s a wonderful place and the scenery reminds of a theme from a Sergio Leone’s spaghetti western movies. The sea water is a bit yellow from the sulfur and they say that its very therapeutic! You can visit the old factory where the old machinery is still there. We can spend about 20 minutes there. After we enter the boat, we head southwest towards Gerakas beach which is only accessible with a boat and it’s probably one of the top 5 beaches in the Cycladic islands. The water is simply amazing, and the vibe of the place is incredible. We anchor and we can swim for as long as you like, you can swim to the beach where you can lay on a very soft type of pebbly sand that you simply can’t get enough of it! Usually, we stay there for about an hour, but even more if you like.

5.00Unfortunately we could not make the visit as there were very strong winds and was veru dangerous. Riri informed as of this as soon it became evident. The days when it was going to be possible were after we had left the island so they immediately refunded the maney we had paid. Very impressed with the honesty and celerity. Would certainly use that company a again!

5.00Yesterday we had a fantastic day with two boats, all our children and grandchildren! Riris took us to absolutely magical places, crystal clear waters, with a color bluer than we have ever experienced before! plus an absolutely fantastic restaurant! Magical!!

5.00Our family took the gorgeous Mojo boat out yesterday for the day. It was my husband and I and our 3 teenage daughters. Yiannis was our captain for the day. He was AMAZING. Very cautious and measured about where we could and could not go. We stopped at so many beautiful spots where we all jumped off the boat, swum through caves and they gave us goggles and snorkels. A light lunch was provided with refreshments all day. It has been the highlight of our trip so far and the best way to see the islands. The water is crystal clear. We went to Milos and on the way back we stopped at Prasonisi in Kimolos for a late lunch which I can highly recommend. Best boat, best captain, best day. If you get the chance to do this, I highly recommend it.

My husband and all the kids (now teens) universally enjoyed Riri's tour, and rated it #1. Riri is knowledgeable and flexible, which are key to customizing your experience according to the group's interests, how adventurous or "chill" your crowd is, and strength of swimming ability. We explored caves, cliff-diving and learned all about Milos. It was truly an unforgettable and thoroughly enjoyable experience.
