Our private tour with Anthony combined wildlife, stunning scenery, adventure, and fascinating cultural experiences, all brought to life by Anthony’s outstanding guidance and enthusiasm. We began with birdwatching, and the incredible avian biodiversity of the cloid forest was immediately apparent. Even as casual birdwatchers, we found the experience engaging and memorable. The adventure continued with a beautiful hike through the cloud forest and visits to a spectacular waterfall. The scenery was breathtaking, and Anthony gave us time to simply enjoy the surroundings. We enjoyed our ride on the tara ita! One of the unexpected highlights of the day was our visit to the Equator Museum - it was closer to Quito, but Anthony planned our day so we would have time to visit on the way back from Mundo. The museum experience provided fascinating insight into Ecuador’s geography, indigenous cultures, and the science behind the equatorial line. We would highly recommend including it in any Quito-area itinerary if you don't plan on visiting Mindo on the same day! If you’re looking for an unforgettable day trip to Minfo from Quito, I highly recommend this experience. Between the wildlife, waterfalls, cloud forest, and especially the fascinating Equator Museum, it offers a fantastic introduction to Ecuador—and Anthony was the perfect guide to make it all come alive.

This is one of three activities i booked through secret garden hostel and they were all amazing, this one especially. The guides Alex and Anthony were very nice. The day is packed and there is no way you could do this much on your own especially for this price do it’s a good deal. Please beware: bring bug spray or cover your legs for ziplining!! There are a lot of bugs and that was one thing i still paying for. Also came solo and made so many friends.

Alex and Anthony were very friendly and spoke both English and Spanish during the tour. The humming birds are amazing and the zip lining was fun to do. Enjoyable chocolate tasting experience. The waterfall was down a large hill and not that amazing, but it was a cloudy day. Lunch was tasty but right at the end of the day so we were hungry! Not really any time to explore the town before heading back to Quito. Overall I think it’s a good way to see a lot of what Mindo had to offer in a very easy way.

An action packed, fun day! Alex the driver was great, and took us to each location safely. Anthony was our guide and spoke wonderful English. He had lots of knowledge about the Mindo valley, which he shared with us throughout the day. Super accommodating, friendly and easy to talk to as well!

Very fun, full day! Our guide Anthony was so knowledgeable and friendly, it's clear he loves what he does, and my friend and I remarked that the driver Alex is an absolute pro navigating narrow roads and wide turns in a stick shift bus! The hummingbird feeding was so unique, and the chocolate tasting was a lot of fun.

Amazing tour! We had hummingbirds feeding right from our hands, went zip lining, explored the cloud forest and beautiful waterfalls, and visited a chocolate factory for a delicious tasting experience. David was an excellent guide, friendly, knowledgeable and fun. Highly recommended!

The tour to the Mindo cloud forest has been very beautiful, fun and well organized: hummingbirds (it is very exciting how much hummingbird takes nectar from your hand), chocolate factory with tasting (the whole process of preparation, see plants), canopy (fun and spectacular views), waterfall (very cute), food (respect the food restrictions, very large portions). Our guide Stui has been very friendly, he knows a lot, it was interesting to hear, he has explained everything perfectly in English and Spanish. I recommend.
