What To Expect
Meeting point at Mindo Central Park at 5:50 a.m. Along with the Guide you will go to the birdwatching reserve. Usually, if the weather conditions are perfect we can spot at least 60 to 90 species of birds. The species could be spotted are: Golden Quetzal, Masked trogon, Rufous-throated Tanager, Palm Tanager, Masked Flowerpiercer, Golden-Naped Tanager, Golden Tanager, Black-Chinned Mountain Tanager, Blue-winged Mountain Tanager, Blue and Gray Tanager among others.

5.00I had a fantastic time birdwatching in Mindo! The experience was incredibly rewarding — the variety of birds we saw was amazing, and the natural beauty of the area made it even more special. The guides were extremely knowledgeable and passionate, which made the whole experience both fun and educational. They spotted birds I would have never seen on my own and shared lots of interesting facts along the way. Whether you’re an experienced birder or just curious about nature, I highly recommend joining a birdwatching tour in Mindo. It was one of the highlights of my trip!

5.00We experienced a wonderful morning in the cloud forest of Mindo. We observed more than 60 species early in the morning. The guide was very enthusiastic and knowledgeable about birds and explained to us the name of each species we observed. A 100% recommended tour.
