As some of the most experienced guides, they analyze weather predictions prior to every tour, and have close contact with a network of guides for the highest chances to see the Northern Lights. The comfortable vehicle is fully equipped with everything you may need in the Arctic, allowing the group to discover remote scenery, reaching more calm and peaceful places. Pick you is at a central location in Tromsø, allowing for more time for finding, and seeing the Aurora earlier! With no two nights the same, our enthusiasm and dedication never fades.
Upon reaching suitable skies, we will set up camp for the evening. Most of the time this is a shorter drive to the surrounding coastal islands of Tromsø, or if needed a longer drive into Finland.

What To Expect
Tromso Fjords
Our custom, comfortable minibus is fully equipped with everything we may need in the Arctic, allowing us to discover remote scenery and reach the more calm and peaceful places. Sometimes this is a short drive to the surrounding coast of Tromsø, or if needed, a longer drive into Finland.

5.00Our Northern Lights Chase with Northern Soul Adventures was truly an unforgettable experience. From start to finish, everything was perfectly organized, and you could really feel the passion and dedication behind the tour. Our guide, Filip, and our driver, Matthias, were absolutely fantastic. They were engaged, enthusiastic, and incredibly helpful throughout the entire evening. Their knowledge about the aurora and the local area added so much depth to the experience, and their friendly, welcoming attitude made everyone feel comfortable. We spent a wonderful amount of time around a cozy bonfire on the beach, which created such a magical atmosphere. The team chose a breathtaking spot by the fjord, and we were lucky enough to experience the aurora several times during the evening — an absolutely mesmerizing sight! Filip took many professional photos of the participants and surroundings and emailed them to us after the trip. We were served hot, tasty soup, cookies, and warm drinks that kept us comfortable in the Arctic chill. I can wholeheartedly recommend Northern Soul Adventures to anyone hoping to see the Northern Lights in an unforgettable and perfectly organized way. It was truly a highlight of our trip! ✨

5.00Samuel and Mathias where amazing tour guides. They had impressive knowledge on the northern lights and truly feel that they went above and beyond to make the experience the best it could be. Samuel took amazing photos of us in front of the northern lights. During the more quiet bits of the tour they gave us some recommendations of what else to do on the island. The small group element of the tour made the experience feel much more intimate. This experience was my favourite of my entire trip here 10/10 1000% recommend this tour.

5.00We had an absolutely unforgettable Northern Lights tour, and it exceeded all our expectations. We live in Australia and went to Tromso to see the northern lights specifically. Although it was a cloudy day initially, our guide Thomas and our wonderful driver Ana went above and beyond to find the perfect spot. Their patience and dedication truly paid off. They took us to a beautiful location where we were able to watch the Northern Lights for a long time. They provided hot drinks, cookies, and a delicious soup, which was very comforting in the cold. Thomas was extremely knowledgeable and explained everything about the Northern Lights in a way that was easy to understand and fascinating. You can clearly tell he is a very experienced guide and also incredibly friendly and approachable. Thomas is also an excellent photographer. He helped me adjust my camera settings so I could capture the lights properly, which made a huge difference to my photos. Just when we thought the night couldn’t get any better, right before we were about to leave, there was an incredible blast of Northern Lights. They started dancing across the sky for about 15 minutes, it was truly magical and surreal. A moment we will never forget. To top it all off, we were dropped back safely at our hotel, making the entire experience seamless and stress-free. Highly recommend this tour to anyone dreaming of seeing the Northern Lights especially with guides like Thomas and Ana. This was a once-in-a-lifetime experience for us.

5.00Excellent experience. Samuel guide very attentive and knowledgeable. We left Tromso with snow and traveled an hour and a half to a beach where the magic began. We saw beautiful auroras. Excellent attention also from the mini bus driver

5.00The whole experience was amazing. Samuel and Mathias really made the trip worthwhile and were so kind and friendly. They found the best stops for the tour and were keen that everyone involved got to see an amazing aurora and that people could get as many pictures of it as possible. One of the best tours we have done and would gladly book to go on this again. The small group and attention to detail make it worthwhile.

5.00A fantastic experience! We were lucky our trip coincided with both clear skies and a solar storm, so saw incredible auroras and a sky filled with stars. Lucas and Bogan were great - super knowledgable, friendly, and able to give helpful photography tips (as well as sharing their own wonderful pics!). The camp fire, food, and hot chocolate really added to the night - one we won't forget!

5.00This was a fun and friendly experience from the start. We drove out of Tromso to seek the Aurora and we stopped twice before our final stop in the middle of nowhere. The hospitality was very good with chocolate and cookies followed by a flask of hot soup a bit later sitting behind the van around a campfire under the stars with the lights making appearances every now and again. Michael was very helpful with all our attempts to take photos as well taking some for us on his camera which were forwarded as promised. We were near the end of the evening and the final show was trumpeted by Michael as we prepared to go, and we all witnessed the best showing with the lights dancing above us. Good hosts and a successful evening. Thanks to Michael and Anna.

5.00Joaco is a passionate , a real pro in the field. He's kind and has incredible patience (it takes some to do this job) We spent an evening by the fire with the Northern Lights as a backdrop. Many people were on the bus but we stayed with him and enjoyed this timeless moment. The price is still very high but I imagine sometimes they go as far as Finland so you can understand.
