    Overview

Enter the world of Mitai Māori Village and embrace our history and culture. Watch our stories unfold through the dynamic scenes of our warriors paddling down Wai-o-Whiro stream, the melodious sounds of our instruments and entertainment from our performers including the haka. Satisfy your hunger with the traditional Māori Hangi and concluding your evening with a walk through our forest to see the ancient, fortified village learning the old ways of living and survival of our people and discover the natural resource Te Puna a Tuhoe, freshwater spring. The evening is not over until you glimpse the glow worms light up the banks of forest as the veil of darkness sets in.

Nau mai, haere mai, whakatau mai – come and experience our world…

A nice compact evening to get into the Maori culture with a really good dinner included. The Maori "show" was fascinating. Having transport (pick-up) available would have been nice because public transport is not running in the evening.

Haka Dance. The settings. 3 to 3.5 hours was a bit too much. Glow worm walk was not required and beleive it was just added to make it long. It was only the first 1.5 hours which was good. Rest was not OK at all.

A little overpriced in my opinion. Good food. Good cultural experience, exposure to Maori culture. Lacking a little in professionalism with the presentation.

An amazing evening. The cultural show was one of the best things I have seen while in Rotorua. The host was brilliant and I loved the Q&A at the end.

The cultural show was great. Walk in the forest was okay but a bit dangerous I think for little kids and older people.
