I signed up for the Molokini snorkel tour as a solo passenger who had never snorkeled and left feeling like a pro with a boat load of new friends Due to the smaller size of our group, we got a free upgrade to a luxury catamaran! Waves were higher than normal at Molokini and Turtle Arches due to a hurricane north of the islands so we toured it but did not snorkel there. Instead the crew found the perfect serene spot for us at Coral Gardens! Water was clear, coral and fish were abundant and we saw 4 sea turtles. We had continential breakfast of banana bread, fruit, croissants, and island juice. Lunch with hot dogs, chicken, salad, and pasta salad, and dessert of yummy homemade chocolate chip cookies. The free snorkel lesson was easy and fun and the snorkel gear and free floation devices provided were wonderful. Captain Emily and crew Rich and Conner were outstanding! They clearly love their jobs, caring for the ocean, and sharing it with people in the most safe and fun way. There were many tour companies to chose from and I am so thankful I chose PWF. Highly recommend for all snorkel levels!

Had a great time on the Molokini and Turtle Arches Snorkel! Crew was awesome, lunch was delicious, and the snorkeling was so fun! I get anxious in open water but the crew was so informative and I felt very safe. I also love the mission of the Pac Whale Foundation and taking a tour with them also supports research. We saw many different specific of fish and coral, and also got to swim with the turtles. Would definitely do another tour with them.

Our family had a wonderful time on the Molokini & Turtle Arches Snorkel from Ma'alaea on the Ocean Guardian. Unfortunately due to the weather conditions we were not able to visit Turtle Arches so we stayed at the Molokini crater the whole time. The snorkeling there was excellent, the coral was beautiful and we saw many colorful fish. The crew was professional, fun and knowledgeable. On the way out they shared Hawaiian stories about Maui and how he created the islands. They had a naturalist on board that shared a QR code with all the fish we may see and went over the list with us. Once we were in the water they had life guards set up around the perimeter and offered a tour pointing out and educating us about the different fish we were seeing. They served breakfast on our way to the crater and a delicious bbq lunch with chicken, hot dogs, veggie burgers and salads when we finished snorkeling. We appreciate Pacwhale Eco-Adventures’ commitment to conservation and education and that the proceeds fund nonprofit Pacific Whale Foundation’s Research, Education and Conservation programs. I highly recommend this snorkel trip.

Snorkel package. I had an amazing time with Pacific Whale Foundation! The crew was friendly, helpful, and made the whole experience feel easy and fun. The snorkeling was beautiful, and the 3D whale experience blew me away—so powerful and moving. I'm glad to support a group that truly cares for the ocean and makes adventure meaningful.

Great experience. A lot of good information. Very professional crew, smiling always. The food was ok but that was not the purpose of the trip. They were very careful about our safety which i liked.

This was my very first time snorkeling and I had the most amazing experience. We had the very knowledgeable friendly marine biologist Molly! Loved it, would do it again if I come back in the future.

Our day started with check-in and a short walk-down to the boat. We were pleasantly surprised to be on PacWhale's sailboat. Great service from the staff. They were able to accommodate my two vegan kids. We stopped to see one of the last whales of the season! Snorkeling at Molokini was much less crowded than other boats that were there. Great safety gear and instruction. The cruise back to dock was the absolute highlight as the crew unfurled the sails and cut the motor. One of the talented staff, Molly got up with her ukulele and entertained us with several songs. She was one of two marine biologists on the boat. The dedication and education of the PacWhale staff is something I have not seen on the two other Molokini cruises I have taken in the past. Great adventure! My adult kids loved it!

Captain, Aaron and his team were absolutely amazing. Not only did they have a vast amount of information and knowledge about the island, but went out of their way to host a beautiful day on the boat. We had a storm the night before that made some of the waters murky so Aaron found other areas for us to snorkel. He took us to some amazing places the other tour boats do not go. We have the greatest time and would do it again in a heartbeat.

Definitely worth taking a boat ride for some snorkeling. We had a group of 10 (grade school age to retired) and everyone had a great time. We were able to see coral and all kinds of fish. Being able to rent the go pro cameras for underwater pictures for cheaper than buying my own camera pheon housing was a nice additional perk too!
