Ostrog Monastery
The Ostrog Monastery is an Orthodox monastery found at the high point of the mountain Ostroska Greda, sitting on a nearly vertical cliff in Montenegro. It is dedicated to St. Basil of Ostrog. The monastery includes Upper and Lower monasteries. This Orthodox church celebrates St. Basil of Ostrog on May 12th as per the Gregorian calendar. St. Basil of Ostrog is a great miracle worker whose miraculous works are well known beyond the boarders of the Serbian Orthodox Church. His holy body has been resting in the Ostrog estate for over 300 years, defining the law of rotting. The church where the Saint lies is filled with a pleasant scent that amazes every visitor. The Monastery is 105km away from Tivat and takes approximately 105 minutes to arrive (including stops on the way).
Budva
The coastal area around Budva, called the Budva riviera, is the center of Montenegrin tourism, known for its well-preserved medieval walled city, sandy beaches and diverse nightlife.

Don't miss the trip to Ostrog Monastery. The road is worth it. After the parking lot there is an uphill climb to do on foot towards the entrance of the Monastery (except for the disabled). To get in, men also have to cover up with a kind of black skirt that is provided free of charge by the staff. Free visit to the Monastery by climbing the stairs to the church which is literally embedded in the rocks. Very special is the visit to the old part where the relic of St. Basil the founder and the hand of the martyr Stanko is kept.

We had an amazing experience on our six hours tour to Monastery Ostrog. Our driver was kind and polite. I would reccommend this tour to everyone

Ostrog was great, but we paid for a tour and not a transfer. The driver was not a tour guide, barely said 2 words and just dropped us off and the base of the lower and upper Monastery. Be careful as you can get cheaper transfers.. whereas a tour takes you through the monastery and gives you the history, facts and overall rundown of the place your visiting.
