Our Monster Truck Sleigh Ride is a super fun activity for the whole family. Whether you want to learn some history outside of the underground mine or you fancy a leisurely ride with some beautiful scenery, this is the activity for you!! The sleigh ride also includes gold panning which is a fun, hands on activity! You also get to keep anything you find - so good luck, who knows... you may strike gold!!

This activity is outside at all times, so please make sure you dress appropriately!

What To Expect

During your tour you will be in a wagon pulled behind one of our awesome vintage monster trucks!! We will take you high into the mountains above Breckenridge and will give you a little history along the way! Upon reaching the top check out the old mining cabin which was inhabited until 2013!! When you arrive back at base, enjoy an ice pop before heading out to do some gold panning in our ponds!!

The hay ride was an excellent experience! We went to the 11am ride on 10/15. Our guide was very funny and informative and did amazing getting the kids involved.

The entire family had a fabulous time. There was something for the 75 yr old and the 2 yr old was excited too. The staff was enthusiastic and very knowledgeable. So much history and entertaining stories to keep everyone involved. The kids loved the hands on gold mining. This should be a must for visitors to Breckenridge. Nice family activity without being too commercialized. Plan to spend hours. Something for all ages

Our experience here was amazing! We brought our almost 2 yr old and our guide, John, was fantastic! He went above and beyond to keep our little dude entertained and was a great conversationalist who obviously has a passion for what he does. It was a 11/10 experience for us! We will be back!

Our family of two young kids (3 and 5) learned so much about rocks and minerals from Miner John. He is extremely knowledgeable and passionate about mining and spoke in such an engaging way for the kids to learn. He also taught us how to pan for gold and scooped up a fleck of gold for our son within seconds. Truly an unexpected and outstanding experience for families! Highly recommend.
