Lovcen National Park

Arrive at Tivat Airport, Montenegro, where you'll meet your local representative (you can also arrive via Podgorica or Dubrovnik with slight route adjustments). Pick up your 4WD vehicle and begin your adventure along one of Europe’s most beautiful roads. Drive up the Lovćen Ridge on the serpentine road, offering breathtaking views of the Bay of Kotor—a route considered one of the most scenic in the world. Stop in Njeguši village, known for its well-preserved traditional architecture, where you can sample local cheeses and prosciutto. Continue your off-road journey through Lovćen National Park, heading to the historic town of Cetinje, Montenegro’s old capital.

Durmitor National Park

Head north into the Durmitor Mountains, passing through the dramatic Zeta Canyon. Stop by Nikšić, famous for its Nikšićko Brewery, and sample a local brew. Take a short off-road detour to the Old Flour Mill, a quiet relic of the past. Cross Lake Piva, an artificial reservoir created for hydroelectric power, before continuing along a rugged off-road route through the stunning Nevedo Canyon, offering breathtaking cliffside views.

Tara River Canyon

Off-road through moon-like terrain with stunning views over the Tara Canyon. Experience an adrenaline-pumping rafting trip on the Tara River, surrounded by towering cliffs. Afterward, enjoy a hearty lunch under plum trees at a local home near the rafting base. For even more excitement, try the yellow Omega ride above the canyon for a bird’s-eye view of the Tara. Visit the Tara Waterfalls, hiking down to the rushing falls, crossing a wooden bridge, and climbing back into your jeep for the next adventure. Continue off-road through the rugged Sinjajevina Range, passing craters and desolate areas. Stop at one of Montenegro's most beautiful lakes, where you can swim in the crystal-clear waters on a sunny day.

Spend a day in Eastern Montenegro, near the Albanian border. Visit the Ali Pasha Springs and the ruins of an old flour mill, then hike to the Hidden Waterfall. Finish the day at the stunning Blue Eye, a unique natural spring. Continue off-road through the region of Lake Plav, exploring hidden gems like the Invisible Waterfall and the Blue Eye.

Hike around Lake Biogradska in the Biogradska Gora Nature Reserve, a fairy-tale-like setting in an ancient, dense forest filled with every shade of green. Off-road from Biogradska to the dramatic ridges of the Bjelasica Mountains. Visit a traditional Katun (summer shepherds' home), where you can enjoy a simple, homemade Montenegrin lunch. Descend via rugged logging trails into the scenic Lim River Valley, completing the journey through untouched wilderness.

Lake Skadar

A long but rewarding day as you leave the mountains behind. Take an off-road route from Kolašin, passing a small church with a unique story, and descend toward the Morača River. Continue to Lake Skadar, the largest lake in the Balkans, for a peaceful boat ride among water lilies and native birds. End the day on the Adriatic coast, stopping for a stunning view of Sveti Stefan—a picturesque island and former fortified village, now one of Europe’s most exclusive resorts.

Kotor Old Town

Start your final day with a walking tour of Kotor’s Old Town, nestled between cliffs and the bay, wandering its charming narrow alleys and soaking in the serene harbor views. Depending on your flight schedule, head to Tivat Airport (or Podgorica/Dubrovnik Airport, if you started there), return your vehicle and prepare for your journey home. End of Trip
