You must bring your physical driver's license on the day of the experience.

The buggy driver must be at least 21 years old and hold a valid driver’s license. Travelers seated in the buggy’s passenger seat must be at least 6 years old.

Children must be accompanied by an adult.

The company/Guide's reserves the right to judge the capacities and abilities of a rider prior to the start of an SxS tour. In the case it's not safe for the riders and the rest of the group to participate, then a 50% refund will be issued.

What To Expect

You will drive your own off-road buggy, following a professional local guide/instructor on a circular route through the Meteora UNESCO Global Geopark. This is a guided self-drive experience: you drive, the guide leads at a safe pace. After arriving at our base, you receive a safety briefing and driving instructions, and we provide all protective equipment. The route quickly leaves paved roads and follows dirt tracks, forest roads and rocky paths. Along the way, you make frequent stops at scenic points and places of interest. The guide explains the landscape, geology and hidden monastic sites, and there is time for photos and short walks. Depending on conditions, the route may include small creek or river crossings, historic stone features and panoramic viewpoints. The tour finishes by looping back to the starting point. The focus is on scenery, exploration and safe off-road driving, not speed, making it suitable for beginners.

It was AMAZING!!!! I would have never expected such an amazing tour. The ride and the road was awsome but that‘s not all…. We had many stops to take pictures at beautiful places, enjoy the view and actually soak in the adventure, because during the ride you experience so many awesome things that you can‘t even comprehend it! It lasted way longer than I thought it would. The guys leading the tour are also super nice and welcoming! Totally worth it! I would do it again anytime!

We did this one prior to the afternoon tour and it was a great experience! Perfect for all ages, long enough to see all the beautiful views. It was a great choice to combine it with the afternoon tour because they don't overlap. By far, it was the best way to see the area! Highly recommended 👌

The morning buggy tour was an absolute highlight of our trip! Driving through off-road trails, forests, and hidden paths gave us a completely different perspective of Meteora—far away from the crowds. We explored incredible viewpoints and secret spots you would never discover on your own. The scenery was stunning in the morning light, making everything feel peaceful and authentic. The buggies were easy and fun to drive, and the guide was professional, friendly, and made sure everyone felt safe and comfortable.
