Please carry Indian Rupees (INR) for monument entry tickets, as cards are not accepted. We also recommend bringing sunglasses, comfortable shoes, a hat or cap, sunscreen, and a water bottle for a comfortable and enjoyable visit.
Your guide will help you buy entrance fees at monuments, so you will not have to wait in a queue to buy entrance fees.

Ajanta Caves are closed every Monday. Ellora Caves are closed every Tuesday.

Welcome to Aurangabad! Our team will meet you at your chosen pickup point and give you a quick idea of the day’s plan. You’ll be introduced to your driver or guide before we begin the tour. Drive to Ajanta Caves We’ll start with a scenic 2-hour drive (around 100 km) to the famous Ajanta Caves, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. When we reach the parking area (4 km from the caves), a shuttle bus will take us to the entrance. Don’t worry—your guide will help with shuttle and entry tickets. Explore the Ajanta Caves Spend around 3 hours exploring these ancient rock-cut caves, dating back to the 2nd century BC. Inside, you’ll see beautiful Buddhist carvings, paintings, and stories told through art. Lunch and Return After the cave visit, enjoy a tasty local lunch (your guide will suggest a good place). Then we’ll head back to Aurangabad, ending your wonderful day with great memories.

Start Your Day Enjoy your breakfast, then meet your driver or guide at 8:30 a.m. in your hotel lobby. Visit Ellora Caves We’ll drive about 1 hour (35 km) to the amazing Ellora Caves, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. These caves are over 1,000 years old and show beautiful art from Hindu, Buddhist, and Jain religions. Don’t miss Cave 16 — the famous Kailash Temple, carved from a single rock and dedicated to Lord Shiva! Lunch Break After exploring the caves, you can take a break and enjoy a nice lunch at a local restaurant. Visit Bibi Ka Maqbara Next, we’ll drive about 30 km to see Bibi Ka Maqbara, also known as the "Mini Taj Mahal." It’s a beautiful monument and a great way to end your day.

Afternoon Visit to Bibi Ka Maqbara After your visit to the stunning Ellora Caves, we’ll drive around 30 km to Bibi Ka Maqbara. Built by Prince Azam Shah in memory of his mother, this beautiful monument is often called the “Taj of the Deccan.” Its lovely Mughal-style architecture makes it a must-see in Aurangabad. Shopping Time & Tour End Next, enjoy some free time to shop for local specialties like Himroo and Paithani sarees — perfect souvenirs from Aurangabad! After shopping, we’ll drop you off at the place of your choice — whether it’s your hotel, the airport, or the train station. Note: This tour is perfect if you have an afternoon flight — drop-off is available anytime between 2:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m.

5.00Wonderful guide, Mr Deepak and great driver, Mr Hameed. Mr Deepak was very knowledgeable not only about the history of the caves but was able to link the history to other periods of Indian history. We felt very safe being driven by Mr Hameed

5.00Really excellent 2 tour of the Ajanta and Ellora caves. Driver Mr Suleman and both guides (Mr Ali and Mr Deepak) were professional and knowledgeable and clearly very experienced. The rest stops for comfort breaks, chai and lunches were well chosen. I had been a little concerned, being a solo female traveller for this journey but had nothing to worry about. Well looked after and I felt comfortable throughout.

5.00Excellent experience. Mannan was a great driver. He follows a pretty set itinerary with the two cave sites and Bibi Ka Maqbara, but was also flexible when we wanted to change some plans. We got similar offers for drivers from our airport taxi and hotel (prices were a bit lower but comparable) but I'm glad we had just booked this in advance. Booking with only a driver and no guide was fine - you can hire guides when you get to the sites, if you'd like.

5.00We booked 2 days tour and we had Mr.Mannan as our driver. We really had a great time. Our driver is very polite and always waiting for us. We asked him to bring us to the local resturants, supermarket , and dessert shop. He always had a smile on and the shops he took us were all good ! If you look for someone who knows inside out about the town. I wouls really recommended. Thanks again Mr.Mannan. We really had a great time.

5.00Both grottoes look good, and the Erora grotto is a little more flaky. The driver was nice and punctual every day to meet us at the hotel. It is recommended that you take a look. The driver would stop in the middle of the road to rest. The bathroom was clean and functional, and the attraction was unused. It's not too tiring to climb up the grotto. Arora has a battery car handy.

4.00We had 2 days in Chhatrapati Sambhaji Nagar (Aurangabad). The caves were wonderful. The taxi driver was punctual. He drove us efficiently to the caves. He gave us a guide book to browse. He gave very little info about the caves. No tips about getting a guide.
