Sigiriya Lion Rock
Sigiriya is home to the 5th Century “Fortress in the Sky” which is perhaps the most fantastic single wonder of the Island. It is also known as Lion Rock because of the huge lion that used to stand at the entrance to the fortress. Within its triple-moated defence the huge rock rises almost to a sheer height of 500ft. On its summit are the foundations of what was once a great and sumptuous palace and gardens complete with swimming pool. On one of the stairways the only known ancient work of Sinhala secular painting survived in the form of Frescoes of life sized damsels in all the freshness and delicacy of their original colour.

Ancient City of Polonnaruwa
Kings ruled the central plains of Sri Lanka from Polonnaruwa 800 years ago, when it was a thriving commercial and religious centre. The glories of that age can be found in the archaeological treasures that still give a pretty good idea of how the city looked in its heyday. You'll find the archaeological park a delight to explore, with hundreds of ancient structures – tombs and temples, statues and stupas – in a compact core. The Quadrangle alone is worth the trip
Temple of the Sacred Tooth Relic
The hill capital, venue of the annual Perahera. The last stronghold of the Sinhala Kings was finally ceded to the British in 1815. Kandy is an example of the Buddhism's influence in Sri Lanka today. Temple's shrines and monasteries keeping alive Buddhist traditions are everywhere.
Royal Botanical Gardens
Srilankas largest Botanical Garden
The ‘Little England’ of Sri Lanka, is set against beautiful backdrops of Mountains, Valleys, Waterfalls and Tea Plantations. It is supposed to be one of the coldest places on the island, but is really just like an England spring day although the temperature does drop at night. All around Nuwara Eliya you will see evidence of the British influence. Houses are like country cottages or Queen Ann style mansions.

The rail ride from Kandy to Ella is known as one of the most scenic train trips in the world. This memorable journey commences from Nanuoya; the last royal capital of the country to Ella a peaceful, scenic village in the central highlands of Sri Lanka

Mirissa Beach
Mirissa is one of the main beach destinations in southern Sri Lanka. The area has it all, beautiful beaches, surf waves, whale watching and great bars and restaurants. Mirissa is developing quickly over the last couple of years so it’s also getting more crowded. There are still enough spots where you can enjoy a fresh coconut from your hammock seeing the sunse

Fantastic Trip with VAC Tours. Their team specially Shashi our guide is amazing. They gave us a fantastic experience through our our tour. We were initially worried before landing in srilanka with a large 14 people group, but they made it so well managed and gave an unforgettable experience with shopping, sightseeing, water sports. Specially the parting gift of a memoir will be cherished always in our memory. Thanks for making our trip amazing

What a beautiful experience we had with VAC Tours. Specially Shashi our Guide. While it was a short 4 day trip but Shashi and his team made it extremely easy and wonderful. It was the best decision to hire them. From amazing food trails to water sports to sightseeing, shopping.. everything was so well managed. They are well aware of good and hygienic and specifically value for money places, so it becomes an Amazing experience specially for Kids and also adults enjoyed a lot. While departing back from srilanka Shashi gave us a life time memory by gifting us a small moment of our pictures beautifully made by them in a picture frame. We are so touched with the gesture. This was one of our best trip experiences so far. Three cheers for VAC tours.. and @shashinduchavishka.

The tour guide Mr Shashi is awesome. He is a very sweet and caring person. He took care of us like a family right from the airport until back in the airport. He is also very flexible with given itinerary and helped us cover alternate places of our interest rather than sticking strictly to the itinerary. He took care of our safety as well. Awesome bro 🙌

Throughout the trip, Shashii ensured our safety and comfort at all times, going above and beyond to make us feel at ease. He also had a great eye for photography and helped us capture some beautiful moments along the way. As a thoughtful gesture, he even gifted us a lovely collage, which meant so much to us. We highly recommend him to anyone visiting Sri Lanka—you’ll be in very good hands!
