What To Expect
Mostar
Mostar is our first destination, and it's a city that has a fascinating history and rich culture. Upon arrival, you'll be greeted by the stunning sight of the city's most famous landmark, the Old Bridge. This magnificent structure spans the emerald-green waters of the Neretva River and is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. You'll have time to explore the cobbled streets of the old town, admire the city's stunning architecture, and shop for unique souvenirs.Mostar is the most important city of Hercegovina that has been shaped by its past, and its diverse cultural influences are evident in its architecture, cuisine, and customs.You'll learn about the history of the Ottoman Empire, which ruled the region for centuries, as well as the impact of the Austro-Hungarian Empire, which followed.After exploring the old town, you'll have time to enjoy lunch at one of the many restaurants in Mostar. A guided walking tour with a local guide is recommended but must be paid separately (very affordable).
After lunch, we'll continue our journey to the Kravice Waterfalls, a natural wonder that will take your breath away. The waterfall system is made up of a series of cascading falls and pools set amidst lush greenery and rocky cliffs. You'll have the opportunity to swim in the crystal-clear waters, stroll along the walking trails, or simply relax and soak up the natural beauty around you. The Kravice Waterfalls are often compared to the Plitvice Lakes, but they are smaller, less crowded, and more accessible, making them the perfect spot to enjoy the tranquility of nature. The waterfalls are surrounded by dense forests and meadows, and the area is home to a variety of flora and fauna.

5.00Well this was another super experience with Cava tours. We went to Mostar and kravica falls. Our host was Luka. Luka was very knowledgeable and a very good and safe driver . I got to visit my favorite restaurant in Mostar again. We had great conversations. We took a scenic ride on the way back. I highly recommend Cava tours if you want to see and learn about the Balkans Thanks again Luka for a super day

5.00My boyfriend Jack and I did this tour and had the BEST time! Marko made everything so easy to coordinate beforehand, and our driver, Luka, was incredibly kind, helpful, and made us feel safe the entire trip. Everything ran so smoothly, and we were able to just relax and enjoy the experience. I would 100% recommend this tour to anyone looking for a fun, stress-free, and memorable adventure!

We took his suggestions and had a wonderful day. My daughter loved the tour so much that she wants to come back and see more of Bosnia. I highly recommend this tour.

5.00Marko was a fantastic tour guide for this private tour! First and foremost , he has a very nice, clean van that is comfortable and very well air conditioned. He speaks very clearly and is easy to understand. He is funny and very easy to get along with. He becomes part of your family instantly! On the tour, we went to Kravice to the beautiful waterfalls. We spent about 1 1/2 -2 hours hanging out, shopping and relaxing down by the water. It is very beautiful and picturesque! Then we headed over the boarder to Bosnia to Mostar. He knew all the special places to eat. Our lunch was amazing at Irma-Tima! Wow! See photo. Then we shopped , went over the bridge, spent time chatting with the locals and just enjoyed the gorgeous views and weather. 25c. It was perfect! Thank you Marko! You are an exceptional tour guide who knows how to show a family a wonderful time in your country and others! 😀💟

5.00Marko was great! He was a very efficient and safe driver. Knowledgeable and easy to talk to. He set us up for lunch in Mostar during our tour that was authentic local cuisine and was the best meal of our entire vacation. Would HIGHLY recommend him!

5.00Visited Mostar and Kravica waterfalls with marko and, it was NEXT LEVEL! Unfortunately, it was a bit chilly for my taste, so I'm definitely coming back in summer to enjoy it properly. The team was solid, though - organized, on point with the logistics, and all that jazz. Can't wait to go back and soak up the sun.

5.00As for safety, I was impressed. The paths down to the water are clearly marked, and there are barriers in place where needed. They really make sure that people can enjoy the beauty of the area without taking unnecessary risks. If you want to swim, there’s a designated area that's monitored, so you can cool off without worrying too much. I saw lifeguards in the area, which was a good sign. There are also cafes and food stalls at the site, so if you need a snack or a drink, you’ve got options. The prices are reasonable, especially given the location. Plus, there's a nice mix of locals and tourists, so it never felt too crowded.
