What To Expect
Old Bridge Area of the Old City of Mostar
. At the beginning of your trip, you will be given a brochure about Mostar. After a two-hour drive to Mostar, you will have 3 hours free time to explore this beautiful Bosnian town. Mostar has long been known for its old Turkish houses and Old Bridge (Stari Most) after which it is named. Between 1992 and 1995 the town was badly damaged during the war in Bosnia and Herzegovina and much of the urban centre was left in ruins and the Old Bridge destroyed. Since 1998 there have been major restoration projects carried out in the centre of the Old Town, most notably the rebuilding of the Old Bridge. The Old Bridge was recently rebuilt and many of the edifices in the Old Town have been restored or rebuilt with the contribution of an international scientific committee established by UNESCO.

5.00Unique expirience in a diverse town like Mostar. A bit long drive but minibus was comfortable and air condirion worked peferctly because it was a hot day

5.00Mostar is unique place with rich history. Trip was nice in comfortable bus, had to wait 20min on the border but the driver sorted everything with police.

5.00We loved how organised the tour. It was enjoyable. It did took it time due to large number of the group on the border check passport but they arranged 20 mins free time for coffee or toilet break while the Bosnian border check all the passport and a bit delay because obviously someone forgot to bring their passport. Thanks god we were not far away from the hotel - but it was good solid 10 mins after the driver reminder everyone. Not the driver fault- it was just one of the ignorant participants I assumed. So to whoever will book this tour - I remind you to bring your passport with you. It’s located in non EU side. I will definitely recommend this tour to anyone. My kids loved it and we actually had a bedtime story that evening about the ottomans bridge and the Bosnian war . History teaches humanity and kids should be taught about it.

5.00Beautiful Mostar! great trip with the basics covered. minibus pickup from makarska .. took about 2hr 30 to get to mostar with the driver collecting passports and sorting out the border crossing for everyone. We were given 4 hours to roam around the old town which was plenty of time. It's an amazing place definately worth visiting. Minibus straight back to hotel with no stopping. English from the driver was basic but a printed page on the history of mostar was provided and a time to meet back at the bus .. highly recommend if in makarska

4.00Makarska, small, quiet town, with a sea port, very beautiful. Calm, warm, transparent and turquoise blue waters. Nearby, high rocky mountains flank the city. I wanted to stay there for more days!

2.00This was an incredibly long bus ride. It took four hours to go to Mostar. The bus driver gave us an information sheet in either English or German. In Mostar we got three hours. The journey home took three and a half hours. If you are prepared to spend seven and a half hours on a bus, this is something to bet on. Mostar was a nice city and we also got to see the famous bridge. Crowded and crowded. Passport control at the border took at least half an hour.
