Konjic Bridge
Morning ride will take us through interesting suburbs of Sarajevo and areas of central Bosnia until we pass Ivan mountain and enter Herzegovina region. As soon as in Herzegovina, we’ll start descending, as region of Herzegovina is generally on lower altitudes and is totally different climate, so you’ll notice dramatic natural environment change. First stop of the day is short visit to old part of Konjic town. Unique, prehistorically inhabited, famous for 17th century 6-arch Old Bridge, looming over turquoise Neretva river, usually very sunny place, is day’s perfect start. Standing at WW2’s last day, during the Nazi withdrawal, destroyed bridge, we learn the story of the “monument to human stupidity”, mystery of Tito’s Bunker, famousness of white water rafting at upper Neretva region and glacier Boracko Lake, and few other stories before we continue our way.

Arrangement for pickup from my B&B is perfect n the whole day is full of must-go itineraries. The driver/guide is knowledgeable n shared lots of history of the places. It’s a long day but everything is worthy. As Mostar is the last destination, it’s good to stay to join this tour n stay behind for more days.

We had a very knowledgeable and experienced tour guide, Stefan, who was not only super informative educating us on the rich history of the region but also made us laugh throughout our stops on the four cities tour of beautiful Bosnia and Herzegovina. I particularly liked that he gave us time to explore and take pictures. The weather was wonderful and we had a delightful experience. I would highly recommend.

We had an absolutely incredible time in Bosnia with Funky Tours! We undertook 3 tours with them (Mostar and 4 cities, Bosnian War and Archduke Franz Ferdinand Assassination tour), and thoroughly enjoyed all 3! The guides were very knowledgeable, friendly and entertaining (Enes and Amela), and were flexible regarding our times and needs (dropping us at the airport after the War tour). An unforgettable experience, thank you so much!

Stefan (our guide) and Ermie (our driver) were fantastic! Stefan was really sincere, funny, and knowledgeable. He told us about the history of the country and even small fun facts like how the symbols and colours of the Bosnia & Herzegovina flag came about. The both of them really took care of us for the entire day, and we couldn't have asked for a better duo. They arrived on time for the pick-up as well!

We booked this tour to explore the surroundings of Sarajevo. Our guide Robert, who was really very experienced and cordial, took us to places you would never have discovered as a normal tourist. Highlights of this tour were the waterfalls and the old bridge in mostar. He also took us to a traditional fish restaurant where the food was excellent. Our driver Cello was funny and a reliable driver. We would recommend this tour to anyone who wants to see many highlights within a day.

We did this tour with Funky tours in February, didn’t know what to expect, however it turned out to be the highlight of our trip in Bosnia. The scenery was beautiful. Our tour guide Robert was very knowledgeable, he gave us a thorough overview of Bosnian history. He was also a very good photographer, who took pictures with so much patience. Our driver was also very good and patient. Cannot recommend this tour enough. We were picked up & dropped back to our hotel as a goodwill gesture even though our hotel was outside of Sarajevo.

A long, but informative 11-hour day. Covering more than 300 km with multiple stops. Our guide, Adnan, was very knowledgeable and patiently answered all our questions. We booked a group tour but there were only the two of us. We had plenty of time at the sites, some of which involved walking on uneven surfaces so it was nice not to feel rushed. Tip: bring water and a snack, lunch isn't until 2pm.
