Bryggen Hanseatic Wharf
Passing by the famous Bryggen Wharf and UNESCO site as we are heading out of the buzzlng city on the way to the Golden Circle of the Fjords and waterfalls.
The Nordhordland Bridge has completely sealed off the beautiful Osterfjord area to cruise travelers since it was built in 1994. Hence have this area been inaccessible as the modern boats are far too big to venture under the small inlet. The Nordhordland Bridge is a marvel of engineering and is North Europes longest floating bridge without side anchors. The large arch construction is made to withstand the current in the fjord as the tide travels in and out twice a day.

5.00Our tour guide, Tor, made all the difference in this amazing excursion! He was extremely knowledgeable and took us to some amazing scenery and shared the history of Norway with us. We even got to stop and drink fresh waterfall water! Truly an unforgettable experience with a great guide!

4.00Tor our guide was a 5 and did a great job. Very knowledgeable and personable. Were given old van that was dirty, had engine trouble, and ceiling vent leaked water on two people off and on for six hours. Never should have been in use. Company was aware because they had several cloths there to wipe water w. It was ridiculous. Those two people should have gotten refunds. Felt bad for the guide. Wouldn’t recommend this touring company.
Worth the price, better than the hop on hop off.

5.00The driver Tor was very informative and helpful. Spoke English very well and was easy to chat with. Answered all questions fully and stopped for photos if asked. Great trip, had some rain (which is normal in September) and luckily had sunshine each time the bus stopped!

1.00The owner of the company, Bjorn, made 3 horrible comments about President Trump - two of these after I asked him to not do this. Then he said, at the end: America is a country of immigrants. I am ALL FOR an open border for the USA and Mexico. What does this have to do with a tour? None of his comments were related to the tour. No one asked him about his opinions. He just went forward and shared these. Highly recommend that Americans not book with this company.

1.00Our friends were cancelled at the time we were suppose to leave. We found out 2 other people were also cancelled at the last minute. Apparently , the other driver was sick. The person in charge was very rude over the phone when the other driver called him. We booked this excursion the same time as they did - over 6 months ago only to find out that by lottery, our friends were cancelled. This made our excursion without our friends very unenjoyable. I did contact viator chat and they said they will check into this -which by the conversation , I highly doubt. Poor customer service. If you don’t want to run the chance of being cancelled at the last moment, I would not recommend this excursion or Viator.
