We joined this 3d2n tour covering Madakaripura Waterfall, Bromo, and Ijen. The views were extremely nice and we had an excellent experience. Our driver, Yayak was extremely professional, always punctual, drove safely, and communicated clearly throughout the trip. He helped us navigate every location easily, arranged the logistics smoothly, and even assisted us with photos and local tips. We felt very well taken care of, especially during the early-morning hikes and long drives. Highly recommended to anyone visiting East Java. Thank you for making our trip memorable!

Can’t put it in words how much I enjoyed the trip. Erick is absolutely wonderful in making everything accommodating for his guests. It is not just a tour for the tourist attractions, it is more of an awakening moment where your world view opens into the perspective about Indonesia and nature itself. For anyone travelling solo, you can place 100% trust in booking a tour with Tour Mount Bromo and Erick. The short 3 days are filled with fun, moments of sheer gasp and awe, something you will remember for life.

Fun visit with accommodating guide ( Dodik) . Ijen was difficult for beginner hikers but glad my group made it. Was brought to some nice restaurants and nice photo taking spots . Milky Way tour was slightly disappointing as it wasn’t up during this season , so we couldn’t see it and spent a few hours out in the cold . We got to still see stars though, so that’s nice . Would recommend visitors to check the Milky Way position before booking.

I am deeply grateful for the agency to do last minute adaptations of the itinerary such that I could be part of the trip. Following, the tour guides were really patient and helpful. Rama and the driver we had for this trip made us feel safe and comfortable throughout the trip. Would definitely recommend for those interested

Fantastic trip with the best guide one could have! Our guide was Yohanes, who spoke excellent English and with so much knowledge about the place/hike/stars; was so conversational and thoughtful to us. Also a smooth and fast driver, got to rest quite a bit in during the long drives and didn’t experience carsickness at all (I normally do at home). For accoms, second homestay near Igen was nicer than the one in Bromo, but both were very clean! Sights wise, Yohanes brought us up to the Bromo sunrise viewpoint and took amazing pictures of my husband and me. For Igen, we had guide Eddie who was so helpful & patient, and spoke English so we could communicate. We skipped the blue flames cos of the queue but had nice shots of the blue lake crater. Sunrise Visibility was low for us cos of cloudy weather but was still great. The hike was tiring but doable even for those without training (like us) but do pack for a cold hike. Some parts may be quite steep and harder for elderly people but it’s possible if you go slowly. Will highly recommend this fun, very packed short trip!

This tour is excellent! Our guide Kusumo took very very good care of us, such that we had no worries. He is a fantastic driver, where the rides were very smooth. When my friend had motion sickness and asked him to drive slower, he willingly obliged. All the other guides we had also took good care of us! Kusumo picked us up at the airport very punctually (before we even passed immigration he was already there) and brought us to eat lunch first as he told him we were hungry. However, because of the heavy rain, we could not go to the waterfall that day. He suggested we go the next day, and he brought us to a viewpoint to see Mt Bromo and the sunset before dinner. On day 2, our jeep driver brought us to the sunrise point. I was in awe at how the he drove the jeep so easily despite the terrains and other jeeps on the road. Kusumo brought us to have a light snack, and brought us early to the viewpoint so that we can secure the best spot for the sunrise, even though this meant he had to stand with us for 2 hours. When we went back to the jeep, the jeep driver told us we can sleep as it would take 2-3 hours for the roads to clear so that we can move along. Both him and Kusumo actually stood on the road for the 2-3h we were stuck in traffic so that my friend and I had the privacy to take a nap in the jeep. Kusumo walked to the top of Mt Bromo with us, and as my stamina was not good, he waited for us whenever we needed a break. At the waterfall, our guide Suman held our hands whenever we needed to cross the waters. He also held us without us asking when he saw that we were struggling to walk down slopes as it got slippery. He took many pictures and videos for us, and even offered to carry our bag for us. At Mt Ijen, our guide did not speak English but he was very patient. Whenever we asked for breaks, he will stop for as long as we needed and only continue when we tell him we were ok. He held our hands throughout the climb up and down the rocks to the crater. He also helped us to take video of the blue fire as it was too crowded for us to do so, with the smoke stinging our eyes. On the climb down the mountain, he also held our hands when he saw that we were afraid to slip and fall. I am very touched by all the little acts of kindness by the guides from this tour! At the homestays, Kusumo assured us he is also staying with us and that if there is anything we needed, we can let him know. We didn’t feel rushed at all throughout this trip. Instead, our guides had planned everything so well for us, such that they allowed us to avoid the queues/jams. There was a long queue to buy tickets to Mt Ijen, but thanks to our guides, we could bypass this and make our way to the top without having to wait. Thank you to all our guides for taking good care of us!
