If you are passionate about the culture of wine and you would like to delight your palate with the wines from this volcanic land in the north of Tenerife, we have designed this private tour thinking of you.
During this itinerary you will enjoy the impressive landscapes where volcanoes, climate and altitude have formed a huge variety of unique contrasts. In the highlands of Tenerife, the landscape turns into volcanic. Teide National Park is one of the great wonders of the world. Here awaits for you the majestic Teide stratovolcano that, at 3.715 meters above the sea level, is the highest peak in Spain.
You will descend directly down the valley of La Orotava on the way to a prestigious winery located in El Sauzal. A guided visit (in english or spanish) will take you through the vineyards and the cellar to see the wine production process. Then, you will have a delightful lunch inspired in the canary cuisine, paired with a selection of three wines.

What To Expect
Teide National Park
Atop the island, the landscape turns into volcanic cones, craters and lava, dikes and elevated rock formations. At these heights it boasts a large variety of endemic flora and fauna. Teide National Park is one of the great wonders of the world, and it is for this reason that it was named a World Heritage Site by UNESCO. Here the majestic Teide stratovolcano awaits you, which, at 3,718 metres above sea level, is the highest peak in Spain.
Valle de La Orotava
You will descend directly down the valley of La Orotava on the way to a prestigious winery located in El Sauzal. The winery is surrounded by vast vineyards, growing at 600 metres above sea level on steep terrain that makes mechanical cultivation unfeasible, and so the vines are tended to by hand.

5.00Jaime provided the most fantastic experience we have ever had on a tour. Not only was it privatized, but it was also intensely intimate, creating an experience just for us. His depth of knowledge, love for his craft, and expertise about the islands were immense and very apparent. I came in for my birthday and he curated an incredible custom guided tour to multiple wineries on the island and an incredible lunch, and even gave me an "all reds" tour as I requested. Everything was VIP and a first class experience, and had private tastings with the vintners. If they're available for your island wine tasting experience, book with Feel Tenerife immediately!!!

5.00We had a wonderful trip with Jaime on 16.10.2024. Although we were not the first time in Tenerife, we already know some of this wonderful island, but this trip was very special. From our extremely nice guide Jaime we learned again a lot of new, interesting and educational things about this wonderful island.Whether nature,history,tradition or places....Jaime reported to us with a lot of passion and passion and has immense knowledge.After a beautiful drive through the Teide National Park we visited To top off the tour, visit the Monje winery in El Sauzal. A tour of the winery and a short "shed" during the winemaking were interesting.Last we were served excellent food and excellent wine to taste. All in all it was a very successful tour and a very special day (I had my 60th birthday). Thanks again dear Jaime and warm greetings from Walter and Kerstin.

5.00We toured the north of Tenerifè which was a stark contrast to where our hotel was on the beaches in the south of Tenerife. The landscape that we visited in the north was out of this world. Driving through the volcanic landscape, walking through the volcanic national park, and then through the thick fog of the pine mountains, to the mountainous town of Tacoronte-Acentejo (region), to the beautiful vineyards of Monje. All of it what incredible, the temperature changes, the views, all were incredible, very very happy Jamie (our guide) told us to pack warm clothes to layer. We travel quite a bit, we’ve been to several wine tours world wide, and have even studied wine ourselves, but my goodness, this meal paired with the wine at Monje was delicious!!! Now, all that said, this trip was made excellent by our guide, Jamie. When we travel we always do a wine tour if we are in a wine region or a food tour with Viator. But this one exceeded expectations. We departed our hotel at 8:30am and returned back at 5:00pm. There were many places we stopped to walk, enjoy scenery, take photos, have a coffee, use the restroom … all the while Jamie answered all of our questions in the most knowledgeable way. Being that he studied tourism and has a degree in all things Tenerife made this trip and his share of knowledge extra special. Now, going back to Monje. A small Vinyard over looking the sea with wines that were reminiscent of Greek earthy characteristics but its own subtle charm, the Rosè stood out to us the most. But holy moly, the pork. I’m not a fan of meat usually, but that pork was out of this world. We learned a lot, we ate more than enough, and we walked around quite a bit, but the time I returned home, we were at a little over 10k steps. But we did enjoy wandering into the deserted volcanic terrain and Jamie gave us space and time to do this. We had an exceptional day and we thank Jamie for this. We highly recommend doing this tour with Jamie at Feel Tenerife!! Bravo! Gracias! Thank you, Jamie!! D and E 🫶🏽

5.00It is certainly the best option to choose if you want to know and fully enjoy the Teide Natural Park and the island of Tenerife. Jaime is a very trained person, full of knowledge and love for Tenerife, very attentive to the details. We could enjoy a wonderful environment accompanied at all times by an explanation from the guide. I highlight the comfort of the vehicle that transported us during the visit, something important to consider in a mountain place such as Teide. We finish our day with stargazing and its corresponding explanation by Adrian, a fantastic astrophysicist who delighted adults and children. Thanks for everything!! We'll repeat!

5.00We did a tour with Jaime in the Teide National Park with a later visit to a winery. It was amazing! He discovered magical corners of the island, conveyed his passion for it. He is a guide with a lot of knowledge and who also knows how to transfer him. Tenerife would not have been the same without this visit with Feel Tenerife! We were delighted.

5.00We booked a day trip through the most magnificent nature park in Tenerife and then visited a winery in the green part of the island and were delighted with Jaime's competent and professional work. You can tell he loves his profession. With a lot of passion he explained his highlights of the island to us in the best German, which would probably have remained hidden from the normal visitor to the island. The culinary wine tasting at a winery was the crowning achievement of the unforgettable day. We will definitely book Jaime again the next time we visit the island. If you want to love the island even more, you should definitely let Jaime show it to you, we can recommend him best. Thank you for the warm and interesting tour!

5.00Jaime was a fantastic guide. Communication was easy and clear. The tour was very informative and he answered all of our questions. We really enjoyed being able to see so much of Teide National Park and he did a great job of making sure we understood what we were viewing. The winery was lovely and the food, wine, and service were all wonderful. We would definitely take another tour if we had the chance.
