A 2D1N (2 Days, 1 Night) trek to the Senaru Crater Rim is widely considered the most rewarding "short" trek on Mount Rinjani. It’s perfect for those who want breathtaking views without the grueling physical toll of the full summit climb.

What To Expect
Day 1: After an early breakfast we register at the Rinjani Trek Centre in Senaru (601 m) before commencing our trek. The trail initially passes through dense tropical forest. We stop at Pos 1 and Pos 2, pausing for rest breaks and snacks. At Pos 3 (2,000 m) we stop for a longer break for lunch. After lunch we continue the trek to the crater rim. As we climb higher forest is replaced by grassland and the trail becomes increasingly steep. We camp the night at Senaru Crater Rim (2,641 m) with amazing views of the sunset, Mount Agung in Bali and the Gili Islands, the summit of Mount Rinjani, Lake Segara Anak and Gunung Baru, the small volcanic cone within the crater. Day 2: We enjoy the sunrise and a leisurely breakfast before commencing our return trek to Senaru. We pause for several rest and snack breaks on the way, stopping at Pos 2 for a longer lunch break. We arrive in Senaru at approximately 1pm.

5.00We did the 2D 1N trip to the rim.Our guide speak English fluently and take care of us along the trek.The food is nice,I don't expect that they will give us a lot of food and snacks on the mountain. We Saw a beautiful view from the rim, great timing when we reach the rim it was all clear.Guide and porters are awesome. Thank you guys

5.00Honestly, I don't expect the view would be very good. Actually it was nice at the beginning because we walk in the forest,just little challenging at the end. But over all it's worth it. We were walking with one guide( Lim) and two porters, Lim always tell us story about Rinjani and makes us laughed along the trek. Also the porters they cook for US very nice food, fruits,and drinks. Thank you for everything guys. Stay strong💪

5.00The 2D1N trip from Senaru to the Rinjani crater rim was just perfect. The organization was very good - I could just decide in the evening which Tour I would like to do, and the next morning everything was ready to go. The price was fair - I paid a bit less compared to other organizations, but the porter and guide were paid more compared to other organizations. We started around 7 am from ILA Homestay and drove by motorbike to the start of the track. As I had a private tour, I was supported by one porter and my guide Adrian. The three of us had a really good time, they cooked most enjoyable meals and Adrian was a very good entertainer as well. We reached the top around 12:45 PM. If I wanted to have a break of something to drink, it was not a problem at all. The food was so much I couldn't finish it! The Camping Equipment (including tent, sleeping bag, matress, pillow, toilet tent, chair, table) were in a very good condition. The views of the craterlake were just amazing! I highly recommend the organization by Jull and the guide Adrian. I will certainly come back and do the 4D3N tour to the top of Rinjani.

5.00I would like to thanks our guide DD and Jou for their great organization, help and encouragement during the trekking. It was a very difficult climb for me and I could never imagine getting this experience without the professional service provided by this company. Everything – transfers, good food, water, comfortable sleeping bags and mattresses, etc. Organized in the best way. I didn't have to bother about anything, just enjoyed the hike.

5.00We have only good comments about Mount Rinjani Tour for the ascension of the senaru crater rim 2D/1N. Our experience was beyond our expectations and we were touched by the amazing hospitality from everyone at Mount Rinjani Tour. In particular, our guide and the porters were absolutely amazing. In the evening before the tour, the owner of the company took time for a detailled briefing which was very helpful. On the Rinjani tour itself, we noted that Mount Rinjani Tour has great equipment tents, sleeping bags etc. and we were even provided with jackets in great quality for free as we didn‘t have enough warm clothes with us.Definitely recommend going trekking with them.

5.00Trekking Mt. Rinjani with 2 Days 1 night was one of the highlights of our trip to Lombok. Everything was very well organized by Mount Rinjani Tour Team. We had an amazing guide and great porters who carried our tent food. and The food on the trip was great too-in fact I couldn't eat that much. If you love hiking or are even looking for a good adventure I would highly recommend going on a trek on Mount Rhinjani!
